Just wondering, Im a week late and took a test 3 days ago and it was negative... Just want to know if this happened to anyone else!

thank you everyone for your answer, I currently have cramps and mildly sore breasts with a little nausea like I ate too much grease or something... I also cried watching a movie today, my husband came home trying to tell me some good news and I was just bawling my eyes out.. lol, I interuppted him and I was like "shes dead" and just continued to cry... lol.. it was a sad movie...

My breasts were extremely sensitive. Even just my regular bra was uncomfortable. I was very emotional - I cried at commercials on TV, not just sad movies! Plus I felt just slightly nauseau all the time, not really sick, but just a bit quesy.

A bloated feeling as well as breat soreness and tenderness. More frequent trips to the bathroom plus being more than a week late. With my last baby I took 2 negative HPT in 2 weeks and then finally on the third week I got a positive. Sometimes it just takes longer for the hormones to register on the HPT. I would try again in a week if you don't have your period yet.

I have never had a negative reading, I always got light positives at first, meaning there was a very faint line in the test window. I would contact your Dr, I have heard of people getting false negatives and actually being pregnant, the dr can do blood work that will pick up on things that the home test does not.

Lots of those symptoms can be your period too. Tell ya the dead give away for both me and a friend was sore boobs around the outer edges. Very sore like the were bruised. Just on the outside though. Unmistakeable! best of luck!

You know i did not have any symptoms that i was pregnant before i tested and i tested 7 full days before my period was due and the test was positive! I was pregnant but to beat it all i took that test as a joke cause i really didn't think i was pregnant.
It was a test left over and i cannot look at a pregnancy test and not take it!
If your that late it should be showing up if you are. Maybe your stressed out.

When I got hungry, I was extremely hungry, I had migraines, and I missed my period, certain smells, that never bothered me before, got to me sometimes. I never had morning sickness - Thank goodness.
I had to get a blood test. I waited a week and my HPT (I took 2) was still negative. The blood test confirmed I was 6 weeks along.

It's not unusual to be a few days late sometimes for your period but the way I knew was different smells of fried food turned my stomach big time and I was very tired and emotional.

My breasts were very tender and I was one day late. I knew before the second line even showed up.

My first symptom was my breasts became very tender and very large. That was about a week before I missed my first period.
