I would go ahead and talk to the doctor and see what kind of medicine I can take and try to beat it before it comes. Then again who knows when you'll actually go into labor so you may get a cold but then again be a week or 2 late for labor and your cold will have come and gone. Try to take something for it and just see what happens. I don't think a cold will affect your labor you'll be so ready to get the baby out you wont even be thinking about it.

It is safe to take Sudafed plain. It is in the orange box marked cold an cough, throat lozenges, Tylenol, and sip on hot tea. Drink plenty of water and rest as much as possible. Talk to your doctor in case you are worried about the products above. If you don't have any health problems it should be fine. I am a mother of five and was ill with all pregnancies. This is all I could take. Also, Robitussin DM for cough is safe as well. Good luck and don't worry. You can nip this in the bud now.

Let your doctor know. Since you could deliver at anytime basically. They can help fight the symptoms and make you feel better. Rest, plenty of fluids, and relaxing will help. It could affect your energy during labor, but probably not as much as you think. Adrenalin kicks in when you are in a tough situation, like labor, and you'll get through. I'm mom to 3 and had pnuemonia with my 3rd during labor.

You could just be feeling run down due to being pregnaunt. Get some extra rest and drink lots of fluids. Inform your doctor about the taste in your mouth and the sore throat. Ask him/her what she thinks and recommends.

it is cold season, that could be it. but since you're very pregnant you can't really take anything. you can try taking infant or children's cold medicine to help fight the cold and sucking on hard candies or drinking hot decaf tea or lemony water to help with your throat. don't worry about it effecting your labor though, just drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest and you'll be just fine. i had my son with a raging bladder infection and a high fever and our bodies are amazing things and are capable of more than we realize. it'll be alright. congrats and good luck!!

You should go to the doctor right away. You are probably tired of going from baby appointments, but any possible complication from illness should probably be analyzed by a professional.
