I missed my period this month and I'm 100% positive that I'm not pregnant. I did spot a week or two after my last period. I have also gained 2-3 lbs. due to not having menstruated this month and it's driving me crazy. My question is, does missing your period cause weight gain from bloating or am I just eating too much?

I bought a baby heart monitor, I don't know if it was because it was cheap (20 dollars), but it said that i would be able to hear kicking and hiccups and stuff. I am only 4 months pregnant and it says you wont be able to hear the heart beat until 5. I was just getting ansy and wanted to make sure everything is still OK. We tried it on my belly and I heard lots of noises, then we tried it on my boyfriend and heard the exact same noises. Do they even work??

I have a friend whose monthly period has been off track for a while. it will come on some months and other months it wont come on at all - or be real late. anyway, lately she has been feeling tired alot, breasts are very sore, and peeing all of the time. she took a pregnancy test last night and it came out faint pos. she went and bought 2 more tests - different brands and they both came back faint positive also. this morning she went to the health dept and had 2 tests done which both came out faint pos. the nurse told her she may or may not be pregnant and a blood test may be the only way to tell. she bought another test today and it came out very very very faint positive. she doesnt have insurance so she would rather not go pay for a blood test right now. what could this mean? please serious responses only! is she pregers or not?

and they all say I am tiny. Is this normal? I have gained about 15 pounds and I was 106, so I am very petiete and short. I don't know if my baby is healthy since I am so small. Any thoughts?

I need some honest answers on how painful labor/contractions really are? I mean there are 3 stages of labor and the second and third are most intense and painful, however some women say it's not that intense if i can practice breathing or bend/lay in certain positions that way the pain is controlled some. Others say the labor is most painful for them to go through. Few of my friends say i have been reading too many pregnancy books which try to scare us about how the pain is and each gori detail in there. I just want to ask that with an epidural, is that really a pain reliever if the Dr's do an episiotemy.cesarian, or anything? Can I get the epidural as soon as I am entering 2nd stage of labor? I am just asking? How many of you can honestly tell me what labor pain is like whether its back pain or abdominal? This is my first pregnancy and knowing something from real people/cases may help me. I do want to add that in my case my cervix

For about 6 weeks now i have had all of the symptoms(sleeping a lot, eating, weird stuff, weight gain, tender breasts, mood swings, and no period.) I took multiple pregnancy tests but they all came out negative. I dont kno what to do i am so worried that if i am not pregnant than what is wrong with me. For example in a hospitals like Apollo? Any recommendations for hospital, doctor? Wife is in her 32nd week. I know it is rather late to be looking for doc/hospital but due to circumstances the planned/scheduled delivery in the US is not gonna happen. I keep hearing people talking about them having an incompetent cervix. Are there any signs or things I can look for to give me a clue if I have this? I'm 19 weeks pregnant and worried I may have this problem. I get a pinching feeling in my vagina, not a cramp and not really a pain but just kinda pinchy. (hard to explain). I had an ultrasound at 30 weeks and the baby measured 4 1/2 pounds. My books and the web say the baby should only weigh 3 pound then. i am now 33 weeks pregnant and i am starting to worry more and more about the size of the baby. I am worried that the baby will be to big for a vaginal delivery. My estimate is that the baby is 6 pounds now. 1/2 pound a week right?

I'm a sixteen year old girl and have been having really weird symptoms e.g. nausous, dizziness, frequently urinating, headaches, mild cramps... most of all i haven't had my period for three days now. my bf and i used the withdrawal method but right on the day i think i was ovulating. i'm not sure if i am pregnant or not. when can i home test and when would it be acurate (do i have to wait a week to see if the hormone levels are high enough)? how do i tell my mom if i am? and how much more info can someone tell me to help me know what the heck is going on with me!!!!

I just found out I am pregnant!
My period was supposed to come 2 weeks ago and ever since, everytime I walk or move I feel like I am getting my period. Is this normal?
Sometimes I could swear my period is there, I go to the bathroom and ... nothing.
This is my first pregnancy, so I wonder if this is normal and if you experienced this feeling?

I am around 20-21 weeks pregnant. I have been feeling the baby move every night for a few weeks now. Today is Thursday and I haven't felt baby move since Tuesday night.
