i'm 17 weeks and 6 days

every snice i've been pregnant, when i lay down i see my belly moving up and down pretty fast.. this has never happened before when i was not pregnant.. or maybe i didn't notice it but is it my baby or me thats causing my belly to make these movements do any of you ladies have the same thing or know what it could be?? _________________

My girlfriend is on birthcontrol and she has been on it for a good year or two, we was having sex the other day and of course I was wearing a condom the condom didn't brake or anything but some ran out the back and there might of been a drop that I wouldn't know either gotten inside or around the edge, is there a big possibility or do I just have to wait and hope for the best?

I'm 18 weeks, and Friday i get the sonogram to determine the gender. 90% of people i know say boy lol, typical since i have two girls lol.
But i'm curious if at 18 weeks anything can be seen? My doctor has been very thorough and accurate in the past so i trust him immensly, but with my other two i fuond out their gender at 21 and 22 weeks, but since i started my sonograms and appts. at 6 weeks this is on cue....i guess i'm nervous about getting a false reading or not being able to tell, i'm dying to know and Friday isn't coming fast enough.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and have been with my current empolyer for over 6 months. When I asked about what to do about my maternity leave - when did they want me to let them know when i needed off? Who do I need to speak with about it? etc.. my boss informed me that they don't offer maternity leave and that we have to just put in our 2 weeks notice and then as long as our job performance has been well- we can just re-apply and get hired back after our "maternity leave" is up. They say they can do this because we are "temporary employees"... however you can 'apply' to become a 'regular' employee after working 90 days- but I didn't because I knew I would be taking off for maternity leave soon and figured they wouldn't give it to me. The only difference between the temporary employees and reg employees is that if you are a temporary employee and you miss a day of work or come in sick- they dock your entire week's paycheck down to minimum wage. ?????

I have been goin out with my bf 4 a year now and i have been on the contraceptive pill for 2 months and we have been having sex for over a month ! We dont use condoms and with this pill i am having side affects such as feeling sick and having sore heads n i keep thinkiing i am pregnant and everytime i panic i feel sick!! what does this mean??

I am 14 weeks pregnant by my boyfriend of 7 months. he is not happy about it and wants me to have a termination because he woudl rather have babies when we're settled. I live in a shared house, he with his mother ,our jobs are reasonblly well-paid but not brilliant, and we wanted to do some travelling together before we get a house and think about children. In a way I do want to keep my baby and said that I woudl be prepared to go it alone if I have to, but I feel awful as it's not what he wants. Am I being silly?

My sister is pregnant and grrr I can't wait till she has the babe, awe, but grr cause she is so mean, not only to everyone around her but most of all to my children. I think she might be scared, it is her first, and looking for flaws in everyone, hopeing that her baby will be perfect. I try to be understanding, do to the pregnant hormones, but it really hurts my feelings!!

Yesterday, I felt light headed all day and had a sore scratchy throat. Today I woke up and drank some thera-flu, but I still feel the same symptoms. At first I thought it was the beginning of the flu, but I never got a fever.


I am only a couple of days late in my cycle, but am wondering if these could possibly be early symptoms of a pregnancy. I have been pregnant before but I miscarried at a very early stage.


Does anyone remember their symptoms when they initially got pregnant? Possibly within the first 2-3 weeks, if any arise at that time?

my friend is thinking about starting a family she had seen 3 different gynocologists and they all gave different answers she has pco and endiometrosis(if thast how you spell it) one said she wont be able to have kids, the otherjust said yes adn that last one just said its possible but would be difficult. any body got any ideas which one is right or had an experience with both of these problems and still managed to concieve. please help if u can she would like to know i dont suffer from these so havent got a clue

I saw my midwife last friday. She said he's got 3/5 of his head in but didnt do a pelvic. Ive had loads of BH & pressure pains. Today though, after walking into town, Ive had bad pains which came & went-im assuming more BH & it feels like he's trying to push down. He's got his feet against my lower ribs & when he pushes i get pain in my pelvis. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
