my desire to eat is really gone. Is there anything I can eat or drink to try to help the baby gain weight and not be hungry?

You really need to be asking your doctor about things this far into your pregnancy and not asking people on ANSWERS! Possibly there is something he can give you to help relieve your AR and counsel you about eating troubles.

Good luck on the new baby! Enjoy and love it!

eat small meals during the day. i am 37 weeks and have to force myself to eat cause i have no appetite. I eat about 6 small meals a day, and the acid reflux has reduced, altho not as much as I like! The baby is pushing everything up, and your stomach really doesn't have the room it used to, so you are going to get lots of heartburn your last few weeks of pregnancy. Just have those Tums close by, and avoid trying to minimize the heartburn with cold water...it only makes it worse! Also try to stay away from food that is spicy and greasy, cause it will also make your heartburn worse. Good luck!

1st off congrats!! I am due in three weeks :-) EVERYTHING I eat now gives me heartburn, so I understand where you are coming from. I like you, am not very hungry. I had just been eating fruits and what meat I can. The baby will be fine as long as you eat SOMETHING. Also be sure to stay on top of drinking water, that will help too.

I was told by my doctor when I feel this way (I am a little over 33 weeks) to drink broth, eat Jello and pudding, it will give your body the nutrients you need. And with broth you just drink it instead of the juice or water you were going to have and the jello and puddings are light and are easy to get down when you just don't feel like eating. I myself haven't had the desire to eat since about 24 weeks.

i had really bad heart burn when i was pregnant and though it is uncomfortable it's also very important for you to get alot of nutrients no only for baby but for you as well. you have a big day coming and you'll need alot of your energy. try staying away from the things that aggrivate your acid reflux. try breads and milk. peanut butter sandwiches have alot of protien and they tend to be milder and filling and milk has alot of good nutrients also.

just try munching on fruits....like grapes, oranges etc. Your tummy is getting squished and making you not be able to fit as much food or have that empty tummy feeling :) If you like rice thats something thats really light but good for you, i like mine with butter or cream of chicken with lil stripes of grilled chicken. ITs fast and easy. Good luck to you! im 30 weeks

hi-it's normal to lose your appetite and even lose weight during these last weeks.
drink a lot of water & eat whatever you can.
be sure to have some fruit juices & 2 bananas a day so you arent constipated.
