I read a health article a few months back that stated statistically girls are more likely born to parents who got pregnant the 1st time or had an "oops". Boys generally are the ones that come along after a few times of trying. It has to do with the sperm. Anyways, I have been recommend that having a boy during the summer time is best since boys will want active birthday parties (jumping around outside, pool parties, etc.). I also read that September is a high month of males being born. However, from a personal prospective Sagittarius males (late Nov.- early Dec.) are very faithful, calm and intelligent men. Also are Taurus (April babies).

Also, a good indication is looking at your and your bf's families. When were boys more likely to be born? Good luck!

There is no guaranteed way to conceive one sex or the other. When you are ready to have a baby, it should not matter if you have a boy or a girl. Each baby needs a mom and a dad who are committed to each other with a good place to live and financial stability. Babies are very expensive to raise. Deciding to have a baby together is a very big step and requires a lot of sacrifice. Both you and your boyfriend should be happy with how your life is and if you are not, work on that first before bringing another human into this world. A baby will change your life forever and it is not something you can change your mind about later. So, be sure you want a baby for the right reasons.

The method you referred is based on a scientific realitation concerning sperms bearing Y and X chromosome.
A spermatozoon with genetype Y will lead to a male (XY) offspring, while one bearing an X chromosome will lead to a female (XX) offspring (the ovum always provides an X chromosome).
The proportion of X and Y (male) bearing sperm in semen are equal.
Besides Y bearing sperm are lighter, longer, swim faster and have less vitality than the X one.
For that, if the ovulation happens after the sexual act, the first sperms (X) arriving to the uterus could find no ovule available. Vice versa the Y ones arriving many hours after, instead, could be luckier. So, as you see it's importat to control the exact ovulation time and a way for that is by some simple test as the basal temperature and the cervical mucus!

There is nothing within your control to enable you to have a boy. This depends on which sperm reaches your egg. Remember, King Henry VIII killed all of his wives for producing daughter, but it was all his fault! Also, to the previous comment, my current pregnancy was an "oops" and it's a boy. Anyways, besides genetic engineering and creating a designer baby, everything else is up to God . . . or Buddah . . . or Allah. . . or whatever Higher Being.

There may be a slew of wive's tales on how to "order" the sex of your child before hand, but when it comes down to it, it's a matter of chance. 50% of a man's sperm are X and 50% are Y; whichever reaches the egg first, wins, and that's what you get, girl for X, boy for Y.

There is no best month for a boy of girl. It is in your genes that you both have and only god can make that choice. And time depends on your body.

Another old wives tale... does ur bf drink alcohol a lot? They say that if the man does drink a lot of alcohol, then it tends to kill off the Y (male) sperm before the X (female) sperm. Just a little food for thought for ya. :o)

It depends on ovulation and the timing of when you had sex. If you have sex the day you ovulate you are more likely to have a boy. If you have sex one or two days before ovulation then you are more likely to have a girl.
Good Luck
