Pregnancy - December 2006

I'm 38.5 weeks. At my doctor's appointment today, he told me I was 50% effaced, but not yet dilated. I was curios to see how many of you went into actual labor after you found out your cervix started thinning out. Also, is it true that after you're 100% effaced, you start dilating? I know every woman's body is different, but I'm just very interested to find out. Thank you.

Look I'm sorry, But I gotta admit I know I really shouldnt be asking you. I feel shy but I want it so bad, don't get me wrong it's just that I havent had it for a long time. Is it normal to have bad circulation while pregnant? I'm only 14 weeks, but I've noticed my feet are constantly falling asleep when I sit down. I don't have another dr. appt. for 2 weeks. Is this something I should call my doctor about right away?

My AF is due around Jan 4th or 5th and I was wondering when I should start testing... I was going to use Dollar Store cheapies and see if i get anything on them first before I go blowing a lot of money on tests.. When should I start testing? well, me and my boyfriend did heavy pettings, but before he ejaculated, we removed ourselves, and so the sperms did not reach my vagina surface..
will the heavy pettings cause me pregnancy?
what i'm confused is, during our pettings, he released some sort of liquid, which is 100% not his sperms, and i think that it kinda wet my genital areas.
will it cause me pregnancy?

i am pregnante with my 4th child.and i had them all by c-sections. I have had the pressure and pain and the dilation but i dont remember it hurting so bad and it being so soon. I wonder if i will have her really early?My doc said i could and most likly will. Is this true? And will she be ok?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend but once I started I freaked and asked to put on a condom. My Sister has 4 weeks left in her pregnancy and everyone thinks she has preeclampsia which is usually led on by toxemia her doctor is stupid tho she has been put in the hospital numerous times but her doctor does nothin what is a SAFE way for her to make herself go into labor! thanks!

I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and I'm exhausted. My 1st trimester was text book: morning sickness, fatigue, food adversions, frequent urination, etc. Those symptoms went away around 13 weeks. However, the exhaustion returned about 2-3 weeks ago. My doctor appointment isn't for another week and my quick "google search" was limited. (and I'm to tired to keep looking ~ haha) Any information would be appreciated.

I met my boyfriend in June and in July he told me that a one night stand of his (from April) was pregnant. I stayed with him because i believed i'd be ok with it. Him and the mother didn't always get along. The baby was born about 2 weeks ago and already i don't know if i can handle it. He is always at the baby's house and i get jealous if the mother since they are getting along now. He says she means nothing but he just wants to be with the baby not the mother. I am for some reason crazy jealous and worried that he'll end up loving the mother instead. What should i do? get over it and love him anyway? or decide it might not work?

1st of all, if you get morning sickness, how long does it last? Like a certain amount of days or what.
2nd, I haven't had intercourse, but ive been fingured and stuff. But ive made sure that if he touched himself after he cummmed, that it was dry before he touched me again. Like...10 minutes after. I wouldnt let him touch me down there.
3rd, what are the earliest symptoms?
Im just scared, everyone I ask about it says I have nothing to worry about, but i would like to hear it from someone who's actually been pregnant.

I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and i have been haveing alot of pains, soreness and pressure down below, starting around the hips. I also have had problems with my hips poping everytime i roll over at night, sometimes it hurts and sometimes it doesnt, i was wandering if anyone has experienced anything like that and have any tips to help it not be as bad.... thanks
