Pregnancy - December 2006

Do you get a pain or any other indication that your baby has moved down into the birth position? I understand this can happen up to weeks prior to going into labour... is this correct?

I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago, i am on the pill microgynon and had taken the pill for 9 days so i was covered i think! I was suppossed to start my period yesterday (thursday) and i still havent started, i am very worried and stressed out, and ive heard that this can affect your period. I have being having short period cramps which is normal for me, and thats all the symptoms i have been having, could i be pregnant?

I am 29 weeks pregnant but after all the reading I've been doing I am starting to think that maybe my last period which was June 11th was possibly implantation bleeding. Which would make my actual last period May 14th. and me 33 weeks pregnant.. My doctor insists that she would be able to know whether I was a 1 month further along... I was just wondering if she could be wrong...

They were prescribed to me for a severe toothache and absess.
1. Penicillin
2. 400 Mg. Motrin
3. Vicoprofen (Generic Vicodin)

I'm in a lot of pain, and they can't pull it until Tuesday. But if I am pregnant, I don't want to do anything to hurt myself or my baby.

I'm interested in the dangers to a mother when she delivers a large baby vaginally. I know the dangers to the baby, but no one ever mentions the mother.

i am 30 weeks pregnant and i live in spain. i have not been to see a doctor or midwife since i was 12 weeks.
i went into a private clinic and paid to have a scan 6 weeks ago and every thing was normal, baby looking good.
I spose i have to go to the docs at some point, i feel just fine, and have been avoiding it because of the language barrier!
when do you think i REALY need to start going!?

Me and my boyfriend had sex and we werent using a condom but i was gonna make him put one on, but then he came inside of me and afterwards, i injected the spermicide twice inside of me because i was really worried and still am. Will i be okay and not become pregnant or was it useless injecting the spermicide afterwards instead of during sex?

I took a Pregnacy test and you're suppose to use a cup to hold the pee. I couldn't find one so i used a water bottle that had water still in it. And I flunked my tests. My question is. Would it screw up my tests if there was extra water in the pee? Please. If you could answer this it would of great help! THANK YOU!

My last period was on the 14th December. It is 7 days long and my cycle is about 25 to 26 days long. On the 27th December, my partner and I had sex and he ejeculated inside me. I'm afraid I might be pregnant. Can anyone reassure me that I am not? b/c I'm worried..thanks

Yesterday I visited the local midwife for a 24 week pregnancy check up. She asked me if I felt the baby kicking and I said no. Then she got very worried and made out as if something was wrong with the baby. She listened to the baby's heartbeat which is fine but she still phoned the hospital and asked if she can arrange for me to go down there. They said there's no concern at this stage. I tried to tell her that I'm a first-time mum and I wouldn't feel baby yet but she didn't listen. She expects me and baby to conform to set rules but we're not. She made me feeling very worried as I left the surgery and was that professional of her? She was also surprised I've got a temperature even though I have a cold atm. I don't feel confident with her and hope she doesn't attend the birth. She's the only midwife in the rural town where I live but I plan to give birth at hospital. Does the midwife seem overreacting to you?

Ill try to be specific here... I started fooling around with my bf...gave him oral sex for a few minutes (which could have possibly got rid of "pre-***") and then ended up having unprotected sex, but he pulled out a couple of minutes before he "came?" I am 29 weeks PG and this morning I freaked out when after using the restroom there was blood in the toilet. I went to L&D (I am extreamly High-Risk) after a Urine sample we realized thats where the blood was coming from. Dr. said she thought it was a Bladder infection of a Kidney Stone. But she gave me NITROFURANTOIN MONO/MAC 100MG CAPS
which says its used to treat UTI's.

Has anyone had Blood in their Urine and what was the cause?

Have you ever had a UTI, Bladder Infection, or Kidney Stone/Infection During PG?

Do you remember what Dr. Perscribed you?
(if it was Nitrofurantoin was it a Yellow & Black Capsule?)

Serious answers please... So if it's a little TMI!

well let me start off by saying i have a 1yr old daughter..so i have been thru the whole pregnancy thing before but im stumped right now thats where your help can come in..the last time me and my husband had intercourse was about a month ago..well 4 weeks(just a rough guess) now about 2 weeks after i had a normal period..now i just feel pregnant..im peeing constantly..and im falling asleep all day long for no reason seeming my husband is on vacation and has been letting me sleep in until almost noon!!! i plan to get a pregnancy test but do u think its possible i might be pregnant? also i know this is a little to much info but he did not ejaculate in me..we are not trying to get pregnant yet we are not trying not too..whatever happened we would embrace it no matter what! not worried just curious seeming i had a normal period but feel pregnant..also what else could make me urinate constantly and feel constantly tired? any help with this will be well appreciated! thanks so much all!

I've heard some women's stories where they have not gone into labour until 42 weeks, which horrifies me! I don't want it go on that long and was hoping to have my baby around 38 - 40wks.

I'm 21 and 6 weeks pregnant with my first child and i have noticed that i get pain in my abdomen randomly and only lasts for a few minutes or so. I understand that this is normal. what i want to know is i get the same pain in the same place right after orgasm. This has happened on four seperate occassions. Has anyone had this before and why is it happening, what does it mean? I am a first time mother and as you would understand very worried. Please help.
