smaller framed women are more likely to have a c section?

No... as far as I am aware, the size of a woman's pelvis has nothing to do with her overall size. Some larger framed women have small pelvic areas and may have trouble giving birth, and same goes the other way.

yes and that is logical, simply because the pelvis is smaller. but your pelvic bones are softened up during pregnancy to help accommodate that baby coming through, so it isn't necessarily any more difficult that a large-boned woman. also, often times the pelvis may be larger or smaller in different women, but the opening is the same.

i'm not so sure it has to do with the frame, more than the size of her pelvic area? i personally know of some really small-sized women go through natural childbirths safely. Miraculously, the size of the newborn will not be too big for the mother to carry and give birth to...

HI, I AM A SMALL FRAMED WOMEN, AND I HAD TO 8 (LBS) BOYS WITH NO PROBLEMS. I DON'T THINK YOU WILL HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. WHAT I HAVE LEARNED THAT IS THE BIG WOMEN THAT HAVE TO HAVE C SECTION. I am 5'3 1/2" and was 110 lbs. Had no problem with vaginal delivery (neither did my little sis)

nope. ive seen the TINIEST of women push out decent sized babies. its all about how the baby is positioned and the way your insides are mapped out
