Really you can have sex all the way up to labor if you feel so inclined and are comfortable. Really it is common sense, if you are un comfortable or doing something drastic that is probably a bad idea but otherwise whatever positions you like are pretty much ok.

As far as what else to do there are a lot of basics, avoid caffine and soft drinks, start making some of the major adjustments now so that they are less of a shock, take a LAST couples vacation with your honey, take some classes (your gyn might know where some free ones are, like free yoga and such).

Congrats and good luck

Start taking vitamins with folic acid. Make an appointment with a doctor to start prenatal care.

You can have sex at any point during pregnancy as long as you're not having any bleeding and you don't have any conditions that would make intercourse dangerous (your doctor would tell you if you did). Doggie style is a good position for when you have a big belly, so is a spooning position if you're skinny (a big butt makes it impossible), woman on top is good as long as you don't start to lose your balance...even missionary will work if he sits back on his knees instead of lying on your belly (which wouldn't hurt the baby, not even in later pregnancy, but would make you feel squished and maybe short of breath).

Sex during pregnancy can be incredible. I had multiple orgasms for the first time in my life during pregnancy, and I was able to orgasm just from nipple stimulation. Every woman is different, though, and not all of them find sex during pregnancy to be so enjoyable. I've known women who had vaginal swelling to the point that intercourse was painful, and others who were so scared of miscarriage (for no good reason) that they were too frightened to have sex. You'll just have to see how you feel and what works for you.

Some people even say having sex when you're near the due date can help start labor.

Most importantly take prenatal vitamins, walk and keep active. it helps with a better birth if you are fit.

Yes, for sex especially nearing you due date it can bring o a good labour. It can also be some of the best sex you have during pregnancy some women say they are more satisfied during pregnancy.

make sure to get a lot of folic acid and have your blood sugar tested early to make sure you arent diabetic and unaware of it. Diabetes ups the chances of a defect by about 15 % Folic acid can be found in Green leafy veggies and in a lot of whole grain cereals. You should ask your doc about how late you can have sex, it depends on circumstances. most docs will say you can safely have sex thru the beginning of the third trimester...as i said it varies by person though. Good luck.

all positions are fine up until delivery. Near the end though you might prefer some positions to others -use your comfort judgement. Sex will NOT hurt the baby.

have sex as much and as long as you want. you will probably find a time when the big belly gets in the way and its not so comfortable though. unless you are having problems or doc says not to it should be ok

Talk to your doctor. Some medical conditions can worsen. I bought the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting", and it answered many of my questions.

Dont smoke pot or drink booze, and just dont have sex you can wait 9 months, Although if you feel randy its ok up to the 3 month and less, but not beyond.
