I'm 21 and 6 weeks pregnant with my first child and i have noticed that i get pain in my abdomen randomly and only lasts for a few minutes or so. I understand that this is normal. what i want to know is i get the same pain in the same place right after orgasm. This has happened on four seperate occassions. Has anyone had this before and why is it happening, what does it mean? I am a first time mother and as you would understand very worried. Please help.

I meant my orgasm not my partners.

This happened to me during my pregnancy. After you orgasm the uterus contracts and this happens after sex sometimes and you especially feel it when your pregnant, it doesn't hurt the baby, its just your bodies normal response. If the pain becomes very severe then you should consult your Dr.

I'm pregnant with my second child and I had the same pain after orgasims. The first time around I was scared to have sex because I thought it would always be like that. But after the 3rd month the stomach pain went away I'm 8weeks now n feeling the pain can't wait for it to be over :)

Ive had that problem, EXACT same problem when i was 26 and 27 weeks along. Im looking at my walking papers now, thats how i can be so exact on the weeks.
My doctor recommended no sex for a month to see how that went because of her worries about going into labor early. It could also be that your cervix/uterus, cant remember which one she said, but one of those can be sensitive to the sperm also.
Just call and tell them what is going on and they will find a suitable solution for your problem.

Is it like a slight cramping feeling? If so, Yes. It happened to me after orgasms when i was early in pregnancy.

You really should check with your Doctor about this one. Better safe than sorry. Also, there is a book, What to expect when you are expecting, if you don't have it already, I suggest getting it. It gives a lot of helpful information for each month of pregnancy. It also has a chapter for Dad. I loved it. Good Luck

I just had my baby 3 month ago. I also had similar pains. My doctor said it was normal, something like your muscles stretching out to make room for the baby.

It happens to me here and there and doctor said it was normal. Nothing to concern yourself with, just part of pregnancy. Good luck.
