When should I test??

My AF is due around Jan 4th or 5th and I was wondering when I should start testing... I was going to use Dollar Store cheapies and see if i get anything on them first before I go blowing a lot of money on tests.. When should I start testing? I am very impatient so I don't think I can wait til a missed period.. I will go crazy! lol Well thanks ladies

You shouldnt even begin to try urine tests until you are late. The ones that say you can test 4 days early only work for 60% of women.

If you really really just cannot exibit some patience, try going to the doctors the week before your period is due, and INSISTING on blood work.

You'll have to demand it in most cases, but it should get some kind of reading that soon.

The Clear Blue Easy test allows you to test 4 days before your period is due. So technically you could text Dec 31 and know in time for the New Year celebrations. The dollar store tests work fine but you need to have a lot of the HGG? hormone in your urine so that won't be accurate until the first day of your missed period.

The earliest I'd test would be the 1st. With one of those First Response tests. Otherwise it'd be a waste of money because it'd be too early to detect hCG. Good luck!

you can test 4 or 5 days before you miss your period.. get a test like first response that lets you check that early

I would start testing on the 6th or 7th. If you test too early then the test will come out negative and you will have wasted your money.
