i took a pregnancy test today...its been awhile since ive had sex. I took it tonight, how accurate do you think it is if it said not pregnant? it was a first response one.

Well, it kind of depends on how long "a while sense I had sex means" and when your period is due, however, if any test can pick it up first response can. The advertise as 5 days before the missed period, and I tested at 6 and it work, though it was a very faint positive.

It all depends on when your last period was. If it has been over a month since your last period then the test is probably right and you are probably not pregnant. What a while longer and test again if needed.

We can't tell much if we don't know when your last period was or about when you would have ovulated.
