I'm 11 weeks pregnant and i have a slight problem. First of all I am in the process of quitting smoking cold turkey so i dont know if this has anything to do with my problem. I have been really shaking alot in the last week or two. It worries me because at my last doctors appointment by blood pressure was a little high and i dont know if it has anything to do with that or not. I also thought I have a lot of sugar intake and i thought I might have high blood sugar. Diabetes runs in my family and I had gestational diabetes when i was pregnant with my 2 year old but it all cleared up after i delivered her. I was just wondering what this could be? Do you think my DR. could give me my glucose test sooner than normal? Also, I have trouble with getting faint. If I stand on my feet longer than 20-30 minutes things start to go dark like i'm gonna faint and I feel I would if I didnt always sit down when this hit me. Do you think these symptoms are linked together. I have an appt tomarrow to ask.

I am so confused. I'm not exactly sure how far along I am. I went to this baby calculator and it's saying I'm further along than I thought. The doctor gave me a due date of June 24th due to an ultra sound. I know this b/c I wasn't for sure of my LMP. Can anyone tell me if Ultra sounds in the earlier stages are pretty accurate? And also, is anyone due around the same time I am? Maybe you can help me figure out how far a long I really am. Please help. When I go to www.mypregnancy.com and click on due date calculator enter my due date etc...it's saying I'm in week 12 and my baby is 10 weeks old when really according to other sources..I'm in week 11. I'm so confused. Sigh.

I have a friend that had extreme abdominal pain last Thursday night and she went to the ER here in a town that is real small, and the isn't anyone you can talk to here that has anything good to say about the hospital here anyway. but they diagnosed her with urinary tract infection and gave her a shot and sent her away. well her boyfriend is a truck driver and they went to a bigger town on a load and she couldn't even stand when she got out of the truck so they went to the hospital there and she has a tubal pregnancy. can they sue the hospital here, since that is really dangerous and they mis-diagnosed her on something so serious. Also she is going into surgery TONIGHT, so if everyone out there reads this could pray for her, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

I called the clinic where I get my bc pills today because a week ago I missed a pill and I have been spotting and feeling a little different ever since. The nurse I spoke to at the clinic said that a blood test can detect a pregnancy after just two days of being pregnant. Now, everything I have read on the internet says otherwise. I went ahead and had the blood test and it was negative, but now I am wondering if it is accurate. I have 5 active pills left before my period is supposed to start...should I feel pretty safe about not being pregnant? Thanks

I am 21wks (i know - only half way there) but i am tired of being pregnant. Alot of people i've spoken to always say "oh i love being pregnant it was/is such a lovely experience" blah blah blah. I, however, do not love being pregnant. I hated being sick for months on end, i hate being tired and lethargic all the time, not to mention the mood swings etc. The only thing i love about pregnancy is feeling baby moving around. I love this baby of mine, i want my baby to be happy and healthy and would die if anything went wrong, but i am tired of bring pregnant.... i just can't wait for 9months to be up!!

Am i the only one that feels this way? Does everyone else really love everything about being pregnant?

my friend is concerned she is pregnant. she said she has been having cramps here and there and just got off her period. but a few days later there was blood everytime she would wipe after she pees. and she would pee frequently at school and everytime i go to her house. can you still bleed if you're pregnant? and what other signs are there other than nausea, fatigue? and how soon will you have these symptoms?

OKay so i am 23 weeks pregnant and today my doctor measure my tummy and it was 26 cm's.. and then he felt my belly and said that my baby was "Huge" and i jsut looked @ him. and hes like your going to have a really big baby. Then left the room. Don't you think i would of gotten a new due date, i Haven't got one since i was 6 weeks pregnant.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and I always (most of the time) have a pain underneath of my ribs on the right side.Do you think my baby has her leg or something in my rib.Is this normal?I have to go to the doctor on the 12th and I was planning to ask her then.The only time it feels better is when I'm lying down stretched out.One more question Do they prefer one side to the other in there?

The condom broke again, and I'm not sure if I went all the way or anything, but if I did it was inside of her, but she just got off her period yesterday, and she's going to get the morning after pill tomarrow, any chase she'll get pregnant, because I'd hate that. I'm not worried b/c I highly doubt she'll get pregnant, b/c this is the best time to have sex with a girl if you don't want to get them pregnant, right after their period, I'm just wondering?

My baby is pretty active, sometimes more at times than others which worries me but i think that is normal. What is concerning me now is that her kicks are mostly high and now all the sudden it feels like she is really low. I am only feeling her kick or punch or whatever it is she is doing along my pelvic bone. It feels like she is kicking me directly on my bladder too which really hurts. But i am wondering if it's normal for her to be kicking so low??? Sorry for rambling but i just am concerned theres a problem.

I asked this question earlier.... what can I do to make my contractions speed up and come closer together?

I want to add: isn't it possible to have back labor and hardly any stomach contractions?

I've tried walking, sex doesnt' exactly work unless you know of a case that its worked with the woman being solo (I'm a single Mom). I've been in the early stages of labor since Sunday night, and my water hasn't broken yet.

So what else can I try?
and
These sharp back pains and muscle contractions can actually be labor pains also right?

What were your changes anywhere within a week of you going into labor...especially the more unheard of changes like did you...

have increase in discharge
any mood swings
lots of cramping

anything and everything you remember please share...please be as specific as possible...and feel free to give lots of detail if you must...im really curious to see what i should look for besides the obvious contractions and water breaking..

I am pregnant and I called the hospital to schedule a prenatal appointment, but the nurse said she wont schedule me one until I have medicaid.Can they do this? I told her that I have already applied and I am waiting for a response.I have proof of my application too, and medicaid pays for bills that were made up to three months back. I really would like to see a doctor because I have no idea how far along I am and would like to know.What can I do?

I had to take a glucose test this morning, and I know I had to fast, but they told me no water iether, not even a sip for 12 hours before. All the websites I see you can drink water. With my first kid i took the same test, and was allowed water. Were any of you allowed or banned drinking water?
If your a med student, nurse or doc, I want to know why I couldnt drink water, I dont see how it could effect the test.
I asked my nurse and she said "it's the rules"

I already got most answers back saying the government wouldn't do anything, it's the parents I would have to worry about.
