normally you grow an cm every week, meaning that you should be around 23 cm, but if the baby is big, the baby is big.

Doctors like to say things. They think they are comforting or hilerious/funny. They things they say tend to leave you with a blank lost expression. Their minds aren't working the same as yours,.. so of course you don't get it.

You might want to request an Ultrasound and question if the Due Date might be different then what the Doctor is saying. Some Doctors in this field or trying to determine these things just suck and are totally wrong,.. so if you have a different date you think you got pregnant... use online calculators to figure out when you'll really be delivery to prepare.

I was such a Baby. My momknew the date I was conceived but the Doctor insisted on a certain due date. I was born exactly on the day for if I was conceived on the day she (my mom) thought I was. So some Doctors are just wrong.

Probably not.

My baby was a big boy also. He was born 9 lbs 8 oz and 21 1/2 inches. I didn't get a due date, but my doctor wouldn't let me go over my due date.

He said I risked having him do his first bm while coming out, which is what he did...and he was born the day after I was due. He probably won't let you go over and will consider a c-section due to size. Especially if you are small framed...he may not give you an option.

I'm a larger woman and my doctor tried to talk me into one...but I was too scared. Now, I wish I would have taken it...I still have some degree of incontenance - ergh.

well, it is still to early to determin anything. I would wait untill you are about 26 weeks, then the mesurments start ot coenside with your weeks. I am 27 weeks and 27 CM, right on, even if it looks like im having twins. Some days docs are wierd. You should ask him whats up on your next visit, but i wouldnt worry, you should go off whatver date the doc gives you. If you want, call the dr. office tommorrow and have a nurse tell you what your chart says your due date is. She should be able to give you at least that over the phone, but some sttaes wont even allow that. Good luck!

big babies can happen (even without diabetes) Mine were 9#15 oz and 9#8oz, both were 2' tall when born. Are you or the father tall or have a large bone structure? What about family history? Were there big babies in the past? Don't worry too much about when the baby comes. Just focus on taking care of yourself and having a healthy baby. Good luck and happy delivery.

why would you get a new due date??? ummm if your pregnant, your pregnant, the date they give you usually stays the same, its not like the dr is calling "baby? hello? oh you want to stay in another week?? oh, ok, you want to be a bit early to help out, ok, see ya then, bye bye now"

lol, sorry just a smartass here, actually its normal to have a diffrence of 3 inches to every week, like im 25 weeks and measured 25 inches, so im good ;P ok? well dunno what ur question really was, but ok...bye now

great some thing for you to look forward to - as if squeezing out a small baby isnt bad enough

i feel as though my date should have been brought fwd too but my dr has not said otherwise. i had irregular periods so am not 100% sure when he was conceived.

good luck.....

If the due date changed, I am sure they would tell you. Some babies are just big!
