I am 21wks (i know - only half way there) but i am tired of being pregnant. Alot of people i've spoken to always say "oh i love being pregnant it was/is such a lovely experience" blah blah blah. I, however, do not love being pregnant. I hated being sick for months on end, i hate being tired and lethargic all the time, not to mention the mood swings etc. The only thing i love about pregnancy is feeling baby moving around. I love this baby of mine, i want my baby to be happy and healthy and would die if anything went wrong, but i am tired of bring pregnant.... i just can't wait for 9months to be up!!

Am i the only one that feels this way? Does everyone else really love everything about being pregnant?

omg yes! I just asked this same question earlier actually! I am 27 weeks and have had enough. I love my baby to death and want her to stay in there and grow but im sick of getting bigger and bigger, my back is starting to hurt and all of a sudden she started to kick me in the bladder which hurts wicked bad!!! I think everyone around me is about sick of me being pregnant too lol believe it or not i can hardly tie my shoes and i know it the next 2 months its only going to get worse!! Best of luck!!

The thing i like the best is feeling the baby move too.......i could take or leave the rest too and i wasnt even that sick early on.

It is getting so hard to sleep now and to be honest i want to drink champage at xmas :-(

I really liked Lou's answer. I had today off to have my glucose tolernace test done and it is so nice to have a day off midweek and just rest. I would probably enjoy being pregnant a little more right now if i could have an hour or two in the middle of the day just to sit and rest but i still have 2 months of working full time so its taking its toll. I am 28 weeks and am worn out by a lack of sleep and carrying a baby around.

Yea, I kind of feel that way too. I am 15 weeks and 2 days so I have some time to go, but the first trimester sucked. I felt like crap and I was so tired all the time. I feel better now but I feel like I can't do a lot of things I love to do like play tennis. I played as long as I could but my body will not allow it anymore. I love fine wine on the weekends, can't do that. Going out to dinner is not as much fun. I feel fat.. :) I am excited about being a mom and my hubby is thrilled but sometimes I get frustrated that I can't do what I love to do. In the end it will all be worth it and I am sure it will go by fast. Congrats and good luck.

Yes. I am due on December 22 and I am so over the heartburn and the awkwardness of it, especially not being able to sleep comfortably. I can't bend down properly, can't get on the floor and we have to move house this weekend plus I have a lot of mental stress with assignments and exams in the next couple of weeks and I am so tired and getting cranky with my 2 and a half year old when she wont have her nap (so I can have one too lol). Argh I can't wait to be myself again but at the same time I know I am going to be exhausted for other reasons once I have him...

I'm 27 weeks, I am happy, i am not sick of it yet, and I know i wont be untill im about 36 weeks, then the pressure gets unbearrable.

I have a 1-1/2 year old little girl, and i know that if i had the kid now, i would have to muchon my plate. She will grow up alot in 3 months, and will really be able to help me. I am enjoying my time that i get during her naps, cause when this baby is born, that time will be taken up by baby. No rest for the weary. good luck!!!

I felt that way during the pregnancy, especially the last couple months! But now that she is born, I wish I had enjoyed it more, I look at other pregnant women and I long to be pregnant again.. .. it is so exciting!

But I also wanted it to be over because I couldnt wait to have my baby in my arms,....The next time I will really enjoy it

they say that labour is a pain that you forget,.. i think pregnancy is too!

I freakin' HATED being pregnant. Granted, I had two broke hips from a car accident and can no longer have children because of it, but what you get in return - MY GOD - there are no words. Seriously, it's true what they say..... You do forget about the pain the second you see that child.

What I wish I did: Gone on more walks. Talked to God. Talked to my Mom. Didn't work thru my pregnancy. Took a day off for me and me alone.

Seriously, remember YOU in the equation right now.... unfortunately it won't be about you much longer.

i was so over being pregnant too, i have 2 kids the first pregnancy was a breeze but the second was terrible from 6mths i had to have ultra sounds every 2wks cause my daughter was getting so big, she was always 3wks bigger than i was preg. so at 24 wks she was size of 27 wks, i was huge and i mean huge!! (belly) which is ruined now, buts shes worth it. Anyway she was born 2wks early by elective c-section! My dr actually felt sorry for me, haha! she weighed 10pnd 04ounces, 2 weeks early and apparently she still hadn't dropped down yet!!! i hated being pregnant too!!!

Well I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I wouldn't say that I was tired of being pregnant but I am tired of all the aches and pains that come with pregnancy. Just hang in there
