I'm so ready to have this baby I have been ready for a really long time. I lost part of my mucous plug at least a month and a half ago. So I thought any time now. My due date was Dec 5th. And know every time I feel pain I think the baby is coming. I'm so ready for this to be over so I can meet my baby. I noticed from all the baby shows on tv women will be late and the night before they are to be induced they go into labor. So is there something in us they can make us prevent our own labor. And what can you do to relaz in the mean time.

I'm not sure if people replying can read my other questions or not...But heres the story, my husband and i are going to start trying for a baby. i just want to have everything i can thought through so theres less stress later on. i want my mother to be here for the delivery but she lives in ak and im in mo. my 1st question was if I get to 40 weeks and no birth is it safe to get induced so she'll be here, i think alot of you said its better to let nature take its course or it will be harder delivery. I wan to have it vaginaly and no drugs. i absolutely dont want a c-section unless emergency. I guess I'm feeling from everyone it's selfish for me to induce so my mom can be here? I'm so looking forward to givin birth and goin through all the experiances i also just want my mother here with me...Also, WHEN do you start going to some of the classes, preparing for birth? lamoz, etc??

I am 24 weeks pregnant today and i was measured to 34 weeks earlier today. I have not gained any weight at all, i have a hard time gaining weight even though i eat enough for 4 people, Does this mean my babies due date may change? Or what does this mean?

So, some of you are saying...If I have a induced labor and plan to have it vaginaly without drugs then it will be harder vs. letting the baby come on its own. If I want to have to induced then have a c-section?? I just really want my mother to be here but I don't want a c-section, I want to give birth naturally.

At first my daughter-in-law said her due date was mid-March. That turned out to be a mis-calculation and she said it was in February. Last week she told me she was dilated 2 cm and the baby could come sooner. Today I heard she has been in Labor & Delivery 3 times last week and the doctor believes she will have the baby early January if not even yet in December. That would be 10 to 12 weeks early. She calls it pre-mature ... I call her a liar. Because that would make it impossible for my son to be the father of her child. Can it be determined at time of the baby's birth if it is actually premature or if in fact she is manipulating the dates?

Whenever I bring it up, she ignores the topic, and when we're making out, and nearly at the point, she just eases herself out of the situation. I kept asking her, and she finally said she didn't want to have sex yet. I thought we could start bringing our relationship to the next level, but she won't cooperate. What should I do???? How do I convince her that we can take it to the next level?

helpp!!!

I guess more less..I know birth control itself doesn't effect the results of a test. However, I know with most tests you actually have to miss the first day of your period..in order to test accurately. That or have actually had your period pass I suppose (considering some as myself have had periods during pregnancy) before testing accurately. So I guess I am wondering if I have the thought that I could be..but its not quite time for my "regulated period" because of birth control would a test even be accurate yet? Or should I wait? I guess also what I am getting at..is in the past I have had my period during pregnancy but wasn't always on birth control at the time of that pregnancy. So if I am pregnant however continued my birth control pills would my period still come on its regular week or not?

I am 26 weeks pregnant and have been having pains in my lower abdomen. I went to the doctor last week and they checked me for contractions and they said it was not labor. My question is...Have any of you ever had Braxton Hicks contractions? What did they feel like? Also since this is my first pregnancy, I am not sure what is normal. Someone told me that pains are normal at this stage because of the muscles stretching. Is this true? Thanks for the help!!
