I guess more less..I know birth control itself doesn't effect the results of a test. However, I know with most tests you actually have to miss the first day of your period..in order to test accurately. That or have actually had your period pass I suppose (considering some as myself have had periods during pregnancy) before testing accurately. So I guess I am wondering if I have the thought that I could be..but its not quite time for my "regulated period" because of birth control would a test even be accurate yet? Or should I wait? I guess also what I am getting at..is in the past I have had my period during pregnancy but wasn't always on birth control at the time of that pregnancy. So if I am pregnant however continued my birth control pills would my period still come on its regular week or not?

It depends on the sensitivity of the test you're planning to use. Some can accurately detect from 7 - 10 days after ovulation.

There's a great article here on pregnancy tests.

I kind of understand what you're saying. It really depends on the test on how accuratley it can detect, First Response is the best I've heard of, it can tell you before your first missed period. The newer tests (more expensive one's really) are the one's that are the most accurate, birth control if you took it after possibly being pregnant might. I'm not certain though, it's chemical when you're pregnant so more likely that it won't be 100% accurate, maybe wait a few days without taking it then take the test.

you may have a blood attempt to verify, yet contained in the first trimester your HcG(the being pregnant hormone that assessments examine for) aspect doubles on a daily basis--so if you're a month plus overdue you'd be 8-9 weeks pregnant(you're 4 weeks pregnant on the time you omit your era) and also you need to have adequate HcG on your urine to get a favorable attempt. even with the undeniable fact that, some women can't get a favorable urine attempt and favor to get a blood attempt to stumble on a being pregnant. when you're somewhat in contact, then i'd have this achieved to verify to are not to any extent further pregnant. As for different motives think about ignored a era(s)...the list is enormously lengthy: weight help/earnings, rigidity, intense exercising, thyroid complications, hormonal/endocrinatic imbalances, replace in hormonal birth control or you purely did not ovulate this cycle. All of those motives are somewhat problem-free. i have ignored a lot of sessions in my existence(anovulatory cycles, too low body fat, going off the pill, and so on.)--at circumstances I knew i could not be pregnant and different circumstances at the same time as like you, i replaced into worried that i'd be. finally Aunt Flo will come and both rain on your parade or make you bounce for excitement--untill then have a blood attempt and do not rigidity out too a lot--this can delay your era extra. good luck, wish each and every thing works out the way you would like it to :)
