I am 24 weeks pregnant today and i was measured to 34 weeks earlier today. I have not gained any weight at all, i have a hard time gaining weight even though i eat enough for 4 people, Does this mean my babies due date may change? Or what does this mean?

Measurements are a old time thing that OBs still use but are not modern technology for dating a pregnancy. I measured 24 at 35 weeks & delivered a week later a 6 lb 1 oz baby. In years prior to ultrasound this was a way to check dating, however ultrasounds & blood labs have since changed things. If your OB said nothing about the measurements they will not send you for more teting or change date. Good Luck!

At about 22 weeks i was measuring 31 weeks, my doctor sent me to do the gestational diabetes test. He also sent me to have another ultrasound. Baby was measuring as she should and glucose test was normal. The ultrasound tech said I may be a little big due to a little extra fluid. (which was nothing to worry about). I recently just had another ultrasound to check babies well being after having chicken pox, Baby is now huge and already about 4lbs. (I was worried she wasn't growing) So I had to do another glucose test, which I'm sure will be fine. Size of baby shouldn't change your due date, they all grow differently after about 20 weeks. If your baby is going to be big, you may be induced early or offered a c section. I also have only put on about 3 kgs, its not about gaining huge amounts of weight but more about eating well for yourself and baby.
