Pregnancy - December 2006

i have to wait a few days to test for sure if i'm pregnant, but wonder if one can pass through those scanning sections at the airport as i'm travelling abroad next wednesday? anybody pls advise! thanks!

Just another stupid pregnancy question!....

I go to the doc next wed and i'll be a lil over 16 weeks pregnant and i asked me doc the last time when i can find out the sex. He said we can find out at 16 but we like to be sure at 18-21 weeks pregnant. So does that mean hes not goin 2 do an ultrasound this time & wait til next. only reason i ask if cause he hasnt done one since ive been in my 2nd trimester yet. Thanks!

In on of my pregnancy books from the doctors office it says that some women can feel the baby in the 1st trimester. Most other sources and friends have said it does not happen til 20 weeks. Has anyone had experiences in the 1st trimester? It seems like it would be impossible.

I'm 7 months pregnant with our first baby and have been coughing since I got pregnant in June. It has been a very healthy, normal pregnancy. I caught a cold last month and it lasted a week, but the coughing preceded it by months. Anyone else had this problem? If so, did it go away after delivery?

Hi, I am 23 weeks pregnant and for a few years have had "low grade lesions" on pap results. Has anyone else had these? I had my biopsy yesterday and was pretty nervous about it because I am pregnant. If anyone else has gone through this, what I wonder is what do they do if it comes out cancerous? Or what if it isn't? How do they treat this condition? Thanks in advance for any advice... Do labour pains or contractions always start off painful. Im 39 weeks pregnant and wondered if they come on painful and spread apart first or if you can have contractions that gradually get more and more painful?
Im totally unaware and a little worried about it all happening. And are you more likely to have contractions first or do u waters break first?

I am 23 years old and I have had normal periods since I was in eigth grade. I just went off the birth control pill Ortho Tri Cyclen in August. My last period was October 31st. It was very light and lasted about 2 days. I have taken several pregnancy tests but they all come out negative. I have read stories about women who do not test positive the first few months, and some who never tested positive at all. What do you think is going on? I know I should go to the doctor but I want to know what your opinions and experiences are.

My sister is in a real bad situation and has sworn me to secrecy... She is in a loving and happy 7yr relationship and they were trying for a baby for 2yrs. She is now pregnant and cannot enjoy it because she had a drunken one-night stand on the 22/07/06 and is now worried this man could be the father. She says they used a condom but she was very drunk and cannot remember much of the night. She is now 20wks and 5dys pregnant!! Any advice on this one??

I am still a few days from being able to take a pregnancy test, but for the past 6 days or so, my nipples have been kinda sore. Not bad enough that I want to scream in the shower...but just not like normal. This month is the first month I am taking Progesterone pills to aid in implantation, so i was wondering if it was from that. I've heard though that it's ESTROGEN that causes the soreness and that actually a progesterone dose is what would make it go away. Does anyone know? Just afraid to get my hopes up about being pregnant.

My husband and I have 2 kids, we want a third child. Everyone seems to think 2 is enough. I hate having such a small family. I had 11 aunts and uncles and my 2 sons have one aunt and one uncle. I took 3 pregnancy tests cuz my period hasn't comed. 2 say positive 1 say negative. So does it mean I am pregnant or can it lie?? I am 19....still in high school.....and if I am pregnant my father would kill me. But thats another story....so can they lie??

i'm 12 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child, when i was in labour with my first i damaged my cocyix(i know its spelt wrong, its nasically the tailbone), that was over 3 years ago and i still have bother with it now.
does this mean i will have to have a c section, i dont want to ask the midwife just now incase she thinks i am an idiot
