Ask your midwife! She won't think you're an idiot. I promise.
It's very important that you raise the issue with your midwife. She may not be aware of the damage done during your last delivery. (Not all medical notes are what they should be.)
You need to talk to her. You also need to talk to the obstetrician whose care you are under. Ask the midwife to arrange this.
I'm sure everything will be fine. Good luck :-)

I should think it means you can have either.
They say a natural birth is always best medically speaking.
I had a c-section due to me having a deformed spine (its fused in the lower regions) and i was happy with my choice (which is a good thing as they couldnt get her out and had to open me up more than normal and lift her with forceps and so was told i would have ended up having an emergancy one anyway!)
If you are worried speak to your midwife i should think that they will allow you to have a c-section IF you want one
good luck.
Do whatever you feel is right for you and your baby otherwise you will only stress both of you out about it

probably you will be able to have a normal delivery. but you need to discuss this with your midwife, because it could depend on how the tailbone healed. you may need an x-ray, or some other examination to determine whether the bone healed back in a normal position, or healed at an angle so that it may be pressing toward the birth canal.

Your midwife won't think you are an idiot!! It is definately a question for her, as the coxcyst (?) is the tail end of your spine and you could end up damaging your nerves! I would definately make it a question when you next see her! She knows your history and all the relevant info! Whatever happens, good luck with it all!!

you should just ask the midwife. that way she can tell you what to exspect. just so you know c-sections are not that bad. the pain afterward is just a little worse and it just takes one more day to get out of the hospital. you have to be there for four days. Good luck and congrats on the baby

Most importantly you shouldn't be worrying over anything babe. Do share your concerns with your Midwife although she will undoubtably be AWARE of your history and should pre-empt your concerns. Im sure she will tell you to take each day as it comes and see how you feel nearer the time, just dont let the stress build up. . . and congratulations!!!

I am a retired military nurse and now a civilian RN. Unless there are other medical conditions or complications, you should have a normal delivery but just be really careful with this one.

my mom broke her tailbone when she was pregnant with me and she had me naturally. I'm her first child, she also had 5 after me and they were all born naturally. So unless there are other complications, you should be able to have a normal delivery.
