I too had a low lying placenta at 11 weeks. They continued to check it throughout my pregnancy....however, every time it never moved up. I was due on January 20th, and my doctor told me that I would have one more ultrasound on December 28th and if it didn't go up by then I would need a c-section on January 6th. Thank goodness at my last ultrasound it went up just enough that they allowed me to have what they called a "trial vaginal delivery". In other words, I could attempt a vaginal delivery, but if any bleeding occurred I would be rushed off for an emergency c section. Apparently God was watching over me the morning of January 31st....because I successfully gave birth vaginally to my daughter with NO complications. So there is hope!!! Think positive and everything will be fine! Good luck. hope this helps....

Better than it going down. Are you saying that you are only 11.5 weeks along? No need to worry, many move up as the baby grows. If you are 11.5 weeks from delivering your doctor should check again in another 7 weeks or so, once the baby's head engages.
If you doctor didn't put you on any restrictions there is no need to worry....they'll just do more ultrasounds to keep an eye on it.

My husband's niece had this and hers did not move, but it is not the same for everyone. She ended up having a c-section.
