Eat more regular but smaller portions and try to go to sleep earlier at night and if you cant sleep just lay down and relax because your body is still resting like that.

Fruit is good to nibble on and can help prevent constipation which is a huge problem for a lot of women in pregnancy and can cause alot of pain distress and discomfort.

good luck

Everything everyone is telling you may help some, but from my experience.. nothing will work.. except time. You are in an akward stage right now. It will pass, for a time, then come back again towards the end... I know it sucks. I hated that feeling. You felt like it was almost hard to breath at times, like you were so heavy, and eating, although you may be hungry... you felt so bloated and full all the time it almost made you feel sick thinking about eating. You definately don't feel attractive, and you don't feel like doing much of anything... Like I said, it will pass, I promise.. but only for a few months, then it will be back again. lol. I wish you luck.

Maybe it is just time you slowed down a little. Easting heavy food or red meat can make you feel sluggish too. Try more dry foods like beans and rice. They are a whole easier on your digestive system.

Try napping during the day if that is possible, also, eat several smaller meals as opposed to 3 larger meals.

I totally agree with Kelley, I napped everyday throughout my first trimester (actually about to finish my second and still nap everyday) plus eating the small meals throughout the day kept up my energy.. Best Wishes!!

i felt like this and if i remember rightly i tended to snack during the day. sunflower seeds, fruit and yes, chocolate! what the hell, the only time you've got a good excuse for it. perhaps eating a big meal isn't right for you at this time and perhaps smaller snacks during the day will help.
