Pregnancy - October 2006

everytime i read the answer to this question everyone says something different. does anyone know a site that i can read for myself? since i know that having un protected sex anytime can lead to pregnancy i want to know if i should stop the pill and wait for a test [which i will have it seems wait atleast 2 weeks]. i just want to know if it is safe or unsafe if there is even the slightest chance i could be pregnant. can anyone reccomend some legit sites?

I'm about 8 months preggies and have had a craving for ice. I eat lots of crushed ice during the day (i also eat regularly) but my step father said that eating too much ice with low iron is fatal to me and my baby, apparently it almost happened to someone that he knew. I thought that ice was good for you. Is there any truth to this or is this a myth? Could I be putting my young one in danger?

I have been on BC for several months but have been told that is wasn't strong enough and have been having lots of breakthrough bleeding. Now I think I am pregnant. I have been having lots of the sem syptoms that i did with my first child...sore breasts, discharge...white in color, fatigue, frquent urination, slight nausea and gas...lots of gas. I took a hpt this afternoon but it came up negative. I am thinking that it is to early to test but still...What do you think that the odds are. I am really not sure because of the fact that I was on birth control. Also, How much does a blood pregnancy test cost and does anyone know wether or not Blue Cross and Blue Sheild will cover it???

I slept with this guy about 4 weeks ago who, ever since has been quite cold towards me. When we're alone, he's very nice and flirty but when we're with friends he flirts with any other girl around, which really bugs me!! I do have feelings for him even though he hasn't treated me all that well.. the thing is, now i think i may be pregnant.. my period is over 2 weeks late, i've been feeling really run-down and tired lately and for the past few days i've been getting sick quite regularly. I'm terrified i may be pregnant, and have been putting off doing a pregnancy test just on case it comes out positive. She had her period Oct 16 and we've had sex twice since then(unprotected, but pulled out). She took a test and it said negative but it was too early to find out...could she be pregnant or is she just getting sick because her back hurts all the time? But her stomach is also hurting? I was considering buying a doppler heart montior, but I didn't think of the stress on the baby. My baby can't stand ultrasounds, it kicks like crazy. What about the BeBe ones you see at walmart? I know they aren't like the ones that the doctor uses. Has anyone ever used one? And can you hear the heart beat? Thanks!!

I brush every three hours, and have been to the dentist two weeks ago for my 6 month check up...(no cavities) I am 27 weeks pregnant, but my mouth taists bad. does that mean my breath stinks too? My hubby said it is fine, but is this normal in pregnancy? I hate the taist and can't get it to go away, I even bought new toothpaist and brush yesterday and no change. what the heck.........?

I wanted babies sooo bad, and he had his vasectomy reversed for me, and now we have two beautiful baby boys ( one 20months and one 10 months...the last one was a surprise i was on the pill)

She's 4 months. Last week she almost got the flu - managed to escape the fever, etc but there a lingering cough. Its sort of dry coughing - mostly at night. We are away from home. Before we left doctor asked to take Rubitosin cough syrup - she's been taking that but not much releif. Can you guys answer these PLEASE:

1. Can the hard coughing hurt our baby
2. Any home/ hotel remedies for the cough?

Well, I had my period 2 days ago, and i'm on the pill. But latley this week, i have been feeling sick, cramps, and tender boobs.. All signs of being pregant.. My question is when i take the test, if it shows 2 lines, but one is very light really light, does that still mean it's postive???? Also, any other helpful tips would help.. Before i take it!!

I'm eleven days late on my period...i had some light spotting around three weeks ago, about two weeks after my period...i now have a slight white discharge...no smell no itch no odor...i took a preg test a while ago and it was a light positive...i've been disappointed when thinking i was preg before but all the signs seem to point to it being the "real" thing this time...could anything else be causing all these symptoms....

i decided to phone the doctor as i feel so bad the doctor i saw this morning said he would put me in hospital if i could not keep any water down after phoning a doctor just now he has said to see how i get on sunday and if im still bad go to the hospital monday my stomach is so sore from being sick should i ignore his advice and go to the er as the doctor wont come out and see me or leave it .i will have to see this doctor at the hospital
