oh sweetie .... i know it's scary. Go to the ER. It's your body, and your baby. The doctor sounds like he's trying to make it so you DON'T have to go, but if you're scared, and not the least bit OK with what he said, go to the ER. Tell them you want a different physician if you have to to get a 2nd opinion. As one of the other users stated...it can lead to a BUNCH of complications including your heart rate, dizziness, and much more. Good luck to you and keep us posted!

GO to the er. It isn't doing your baby any good to be this sick. That doctor is probably just being an a$$ and doesnt want to come in tonight, so he's putting you off onto another doctor who's on call tomorrow. Go, even if he doesn't come in to see you, they can phone him, and he can admit you over the phone. They will at least give you Phenergan or Zofran while you are waiting to find out what the DR will do. And they will probably start an IV too. I say Go. If the doctor doesnt like it, too bad.
I did this 3 times with my last pregnancy. They will at least make you feel better until you can get to see your main doctor on Monday.
So, GO GO GO!!!

I would say you are obviously very concerned. I would really go to the ER. It sounds like you may already be seeing some signs of dehydration. In pregnancy dehydration can lead to A LOT of problems. It caused me to go into preterm labor 3 times.
PLEASE go to the ER and get check out. It is what is best for you and your baby.

only you know your body...the doc is only trying to give you advice based on prior experience and your symptoms. if you feel really bad, my advice would be go to the er! Only you know how bad you feel and if you feel like you need to go, by all means have someone take you there! You can get dehydrated easily without being able to take fluids, especially while being pregnant. Best of luck!

If your feeling really weak then you need to go to the emergency room. Otherwise I would wait till the morning and see if your morning sickness has improved. Try to drink some water and lie down for awhile. My morning sickness always improves when I lie down and apply a cold wash cloth to my stomach.

Go to the hospital if you think you need to. Are you going to be able to rest and relax knowing that you feel ill? Go where you can get the help you need.
Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy.

Hay I had wicked bad morning sickness too. There's a pill your doctor can give you that's totally harmless to the baby. It won't cure it altogether, but it does make it a lot more bearable.
