When you first found out you were pregnant and made the first doctor's appt?

i didn't find out i was preggo until 12 weeks so i called right away and it took 2 weeks to get an appointment. everyone i know recommends calling the doc immediately and telling them ur last period and ur doc will give u an appointment based on that. some docs may wait until ur near ur second trimester, some may schedule u in asap. call the ob and tell them

Once you've missed a period, and taken a pee test and it's positive, that's usually a good time. There may be decisions to be made. Your midwife or doctor may want to have your blood checked for adequate vitamins if you didn't plan the pregnancy and haven't been taking a prenatal supplement or the equivalent. I think as soon as possible is good for these reasons.

I found out I was pregnant in a ER in Leander, TX...(dont live there)...thought I had food poisoning..SURPRISE..I was pregnant...Went to the doc three weeks later and was 9 weeks.

i think i was about 6 weeks before i even knew i was pregnant ! so it was about 7 or 8 weeks b4 i got into the the dr.

i knew the night it happen with both my kids my 16 month old daughter and my boy on his way but i didnt prove it untill i was three weeks along i had sign that early the easties was my boobs herting and getting sick first thing in the morring and not be able to smoke

about six weeks. I made sure I missed my period and then took a pee test then when that said positive I went and got blood work done.

My doctor wouldn't see me until I was six weeks along.
