Im 12 days late for my expected period. I took a home pregnancy test 10 days after I had sex and it turned out to be negative. Was it a bit too early for the result to be accurate?

Yea it was too early. You can test with an at home test 19 days after the day you think you became pregnant.

A blood test will show if you are pregnant seven days after conception.

If you are now 12 days late then i would take one and it should show up if you are or aren't. You could just be stressed out.

Go to http://www.peeonastick.com about when to test and good luck

You should take an HPT now! go to a 24 hour pharmacy and get one and then take it with first mornings urine. If you still recieve a negative go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. Some women don't show up at all on HPT

Well I don't think so alot of test will give you results 4 days BEFORE your expected day and if you think you are pregnant maybe you should cal the dr.

Yes it was probably too early then. Try again now. If it's positive or you don't start pretty soon, THEN go to the doctor.
