i tell myself that i don't want everyone to feel sorry for me. i dont' really plan on coming clean but eventually i'll have to or my secrets will slip out and that will probably b more embarrassing.
i have enough to worry about without having to deal with other people and their opinions and concerns

If there is someone you truly trust .... doesn't have to be your family members .... i would talk to them. Sometimes talking about it with a trusted individual helps. They can also help with support. Why are you afraid to tell your dad that you're pregnant? You're married and that's what married folks do. He should know since you're his child. It's not about wanting sympathy or dealing with other people's opinion. Imagine how much MORE they will talk when they find out through the grapevine you've lied the entire time. There must be a reason you feel you need to lie.
Good luck to you and I know all too well about being pregnant with hubby losing job. Been there adn still dealing with it.

I wouldn't say it's lying if your family hasn't asked straight out if you're pregnant or if your husband lost his job. Even if they did that's your business, between you and your husband. If you wanted to tell them you would've. And it's ok NOT to tell people you're pregnant until YOU'RE ready to do it. Obviously you're not for your own reasons so don't feel guilty about it, and enjoy your privacy for now. Sorry about your husbands job, and congratulations on the baby. Best of luck to you!!!!

You are just scared, sweetie, and that's normal. But keeping secrets is just going to add to your stress. You don't need that stress.
Just tell everyone, and you are going to have some people 'try to help' but at least you can just smile sweetly and ignore their advice, but also, you may be surprised as to how people can help out in these situations.

Because they probably don't approve of your husband and the truth will just give them more ammo that he is irresponsible and can not take care of you. You on the other hand try to hide the truth to keep peace.
