I have been on BC for several months but have been told that is wasn't strong enough and have been having lots of breakthrough bleeding. Now I think I am pregnant. I have been having lots of the sem syptoms that i did with my first child...sore breasts, discharge...white in color, fatigue, frquent urination, slight nausea and gas...lots of gas. I took a hpt this afternoon but it came up negative. I am thinking that it is to early to test but still...What do you think that the odds are. I am really not sure because of the fact that I was on birth control. Also, How much does a blood pregnancy test cost and does anyone know wether or not Blue Cross and Blue Sheild will cover it???

Blue Cross should cover a beta Blood test. If anything, you will just have a co-pay...give the number on the back of your insurance card a call. it is toll free and they will be able to tell you what is and is not covered. I cannot imagine them not covering it...I had BCBS and they covered all prenatal care. Here are some pregnancy signs for you:
If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.

Early signs of Pregnancy:

Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom

These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.
Good Luck!

Birth control has been known to fail. If you are worried and want to know now a blood test would be the way to go but I am unsure about whether they are covered. If you can wait a few weeks then you can do another home one. (I tested a week and 3 days after I fell pregnant and it came up positive) I dont think anyone can tell you if you are or arent though.

You may be, for best testing results I would suggest use a ept or first responce no sooner than 5 days prior to the date you expect your period. Also Blue Cross will cover it all, all you will need to pay is your physician co-pay & possibly a lab co-pay if they do not draw bllod in office. If you are on a "mini-pill" or low estrogen pill it is very likely you may be pregnant, I got pregnant when I was on that.

yes it covers. on pregnancies.
but for instance lets say you are not you would only have to pay your co-pay for the office visit. which is $15 or $25 dlls

I would see your doctor. There are other reasons that you could be having those symptoms besides pregnancy.

Good luck!
