Pregnancy - October 2006

Moms: What do you recommend? I am 21 wks pregnant with my 1st child, so all this baby stuff is very new to me. My husband doesn't want to buy a bassinet, he thinks a crib will be enough but a crib seems kind of large for a newborn. Plus I plan on breastfeeding and I'm thinking having a bassinet in the bedroom might be a little more convenient.

ok,, well she has been veryyyyyy moody lately and has been tugging at her shirt all the time and wears like sweaters all the time and it looks like her belly button is poking out and she always holds her hand over her stomach. my friend asked her if she got a belly button ring and she said no so hmmmmm! lol what other signs are there that i should look for?

i have been under alot of stress recently and once or twice a day i break out on my stomach, it isnt itchy it is a rash type thing under my skin on my belly. does anyone know what it means.

I have a lot of friends & acquantances who would definitely come to a baby shower but the only friend I have who would normally take the responsibity of throwing me one is also pregnant, working fulltime, going to college fulltime and planning a wedding. . . I don't think she'll be able to do it. This is my first baby and I don't want to miss out on the experience, not to mention there are so many things I need!

Any suggestions would help! Thanx.

me and my guy were making love and he had a condom on but as soon and he was taking it off i saw *** stain on his jeans a little bit lower than his zipper??? since i thought that i might be pregnate i took a pregnancy pill at 8: sumn pm but we made love at 3:30 pm should i be alarmed??

Along with the dark brown and darrk red bleeding which i have had for 3 days now and i have had minimal to no cramping. The doctor also detected that i have a urine infection. i started antibiodics yesterday. I also had my first ultrasound yesterday and everything was intact and i saw the sac, but to early for heartbeat. This is my 2nd pregnancy and my first i had no problems at all. Is this brown to dark red bleeding normal? Someone please help!!!!!!!

I decided to make a scrapbook for my baby instead of buying a baby memories book. Do you have any ideas about what is in a regular baby book? Like what kind of questions do they ask about before the baby is born and after and what kind of questions do they ask about the parents? like the fill in the blank questions so i can in a way make my own baby book?

Ok, so I wrote a question earlier. I lost my mucous plug, and did some light housework. I am starting to feel contractions and my lower back along with the vaginal area really HURTS.So I called my dr.'s office-I will be 37 weeks tomorrow. I went to the hospital with my 1st daughter and had to have potosin to make my cervix dilate. They said that they will not give potosin at 37 weeks at the hospital. I thought this was bs. Does anyone out there have any suggestions on what to do after you lose your mucous plug, and to help make your cervix to start dilating? I'm already at 3cm, and 70% effaced. Thanks.

so i am 2 months pregnant and i have never been before. i am not quite sure what morning sickness is supposed to be like but for some reason the past 3 days i wake up and i feel a lil sick in my stomach but i always kinda feel like that cuz its empty. buti can't eat i have no appetite i go to school get home at about 10 and i know i need to eat cuz my stomach hurts. so i eat and it comes right back up. then in the afternoon i feel hungry and i eat and its fine and about a couple hours late i am really nauseated and i make a trip to the bathroom again. i also wake up in the middle of the night and have to purge. when you have morning sickness what is supposed to come out and how often are you supposed to throw up. because i have been gettin a lot of stomach acid. is this normal? i called my doctor and im waiting for a call back but im anxious to know whats goin on. any help?

I just found out I'm having a girl and my husband is in love with the nickname, Izzy, but neither of us are in love with the names Isabel, Izabel, or Isabella. Are there any other cute names that could be shortened to Izzy? I tend to like trendy names like Ainsley or Insley, or Adyston. I really like unique names too. I just found out that I'm pregnant and I don't believe in abortion...I don't think I can take care of a child properly at this time,..I am 20 years old and this is my first time being pregnant. It's not that I can't take care of the child money wise,..it's that the father wants no part in this and wanted me to tell my child that he was dead.
