Yeah, that's it, morning sickness was totally misnamed!!! Try eating smaller portions more frequently. I eat fruit or veggies in between meals about 6 to 8 times a day and it helps keeps my blood sugar levels up, morning sickness is typically caused by a drastic drop in blood sugar due to pregnancy. If you can stay ahead of it it's much easier to deal with. Good luck!

I had my baby 2 months ago….
I had really bad “morning” sickness for the first 3 and a half months. Morning sickness lasts all day. The best way to combat it is to eat about every 2 hours. Don’t let yourself get hungry, that’s when you will be throwing up. Find a type of cracker or plain potato chip you can eat before you get out of bed every morning, that will help you not throw up first thing when you get up. If it comes down to it, and nothing seems to be helping, tell your doc and they will prescribe anit-nausia med. The meds will make you sleepy, so make sure when you take them you can be in bed.
Hang in there, the morning sickness goes away after the first trimester for most people!

It's different for everyone unfortunately. I had morning sickness for a short time with both my kids, with my last one some friends bought me "Preggie Pops" they're round candy that help with morning sickness... WORKED WONDERS! I highly recommend them. I'm sure the fact that you are anxious has alot to do with it as well, first pregnancies tend to be that way. But yes, you do need to eat and should even if you feel sick afterall you're helping your baby grow everyday by doing so. Just try to take some time for yourself and relax if at all possible, stress adds to feeling sick more than you think.

Morning sickness doesn't always happen in the morning. It is EVIL. I puked 24-7 up until my 2nd trimester. Now it is just once or twice a week. If you don't have anything in your belly to puke, then all that comes up is stomach acid. You might try ginger, like ginger ale or ginger altoids. Presciption stuff didn't even work for me, it was horrible. Hope you feel better!

morning sickness is not the same for everyone, and can happen anytime of the day sometimes all day, however you should talk to your care giver about it and see what he/she can come up with. you may find some things don't work for you. i tried ginger pills all it did was make my stomach very very sore. i ended up just riding it out, it didn't last very long.

try to nibble on soem crackes BEFORE you get out of bed in the morning. They usually help to ease your tummy before you start moving around. also taking your vitamins before you go to bed at night should ease the yuckies in the am.
Don't eat huge meals and when you do fell like eating make it something lite. Soup or rice.
