It may just be spotting. I had that with all my pregnancies. It is just the baby settling into the uterus. If it's that then it is nothing to worry about. I even started bleeding heavily with my first at 8 weeks but all was fine. However I would suggest if actual bleeding starts then go see your doctor but it just sounds as if you are spotting. No worries and god bless you through out the rest of your pregnancy.

It could be implantation bleeding, or if you just had sex it could be old blood from your cervix as your cervix is more vascular during pregnancy. I had the brown spotting at around 8 weeks, and I had an ultrasound and the baby was fine. In most cases, unless it is bright red, has tissue or clots in it and has associated cramping, its probably normal. Did you tell your doc yesterday that you were having spotting?? If you continue to have it within the next couple days I would definately notify him. If you are 5 weeks along, the heartbeat should be detectable within the next couple weeks so asking for another u/s for peace of mind might be a good idea.

This sounds serious. I had this during one of my pregnancies and the doctor put me on absolute bed rest. I carried the baby for 4 months and then lost her. You need to see the doctor as soon as possible. I know you probably don't want to hear that but I am just speaking from my own experience. What happened with me is I had fibroids and those crowded out the fetus. I hope it is not that serious with you.

You've been to a Doctor and know you have a UTI, did he put you on antibiotics? If you are still concerned or if the symptoms persists or intensifies: go back to the Doctor right away! Good Luck!

If you have a urinary tract infection as the doctor has said the bleeding may be from that. If it continues and you are concerend, I would consult your doctor. Only your doctor can give you a real and for sure diagnosis on what it may be.

It's definetly not normal but it could be because of the UTI. I'd say that if it continues, go back to the doctor and have them check you for miscarriage.

go back to the doctor or go to the hospital and do not leave until you are satisfied with the answer. Doctors can be so dumb sometimes! This is not normal
