I just found out I'm having a girl and my husband is in love with the nickname, Izzy, but neither of us are in love with the names Isabel, Izabel, or Isabella. Are there any other cute names that could be shortened to Izzy? I tend to like trendy names like Ainsley or Insley, or Adyston. I really like unique names too. If you know any names you love that are unique or trendy, add those in too, even if they don't shorten to Izzy! Thanks in advance!

We are considering just Izzy, but wanted to see if there were any other names we hadn't considered.

Why not just name her Izzy? My Grandma named All of her Kids with the shortend name. Chet, Kenny, Jenni, Janna.
Those are the names on their birth certificates. It is uniuqe in itself to be named with a nick name. Don't worry about trying to give her a name that will be difficult to spell and pronounce.

Well, you could just name her Izzy if that's what you are going to call her anyway. But I was just at Gymboree today and there was a girl baby there named Sayler. I thought that was cute and unique.

Why not just name her Izzy then? It would be original and since you both like it already, it would seem like the thing to do. How bout Isaura which is greek for "soft air" (found on a baby name website) Isi spanish for "Consecrated to God" or you can check this site out...hope it helps and congratulations!

Yeah, I kind of like Izzy! But my all time favourite name for a little girl would be - Iris! I love it, it's sooooooo pretty! You probably won't like it, nobody else I know does, but I can't help it! hehe! Congrats on the baby news, wishing you well! xx
