This is not pertaining to me but my sister!! My sister is pregnant at the same time as me and its okay I guess but she and I are not close becuase she runs with a bad crowd. She called me crying today wanting to know an answer to something that I seriously did not know the answer to- so I need your help. She wanted to know if they drug test every mother and newborn automatically...She has smoked pot about one week ago, and I hate asking this b/c I am embarrassed to call her family but I had no other way of trying to find out for her. And if they do do they take the child away? Its ridiculous I know but she is supposebly quitting and she still is my sister and I just thought I would ask.

I'm sorry I told myself I'd never ask a "am a pregnant" question...but here it goes.

I've been on the pill for almost 3 months bc I had a still birth and I DID NOT want to get pregnant again. But recently I've noticed that I've been throwing up milk almost immediately after drinking it (I know that sounds crazy, but every time I've been pregnant, milk makes me throw up...it's almost like an indicator that I am now.)
I took a pregnancy test last night and I waited a few minutes and there was only one line. So I threw it away and went to bed.

Well, this morning I picked it out of the trash (gross...I know) just to make sure and there was a faint second line. My question is, did I not wait long enough the first time or was the test invalid when I looked at it this morning. I don't think the second line would show up at all if the hormone that it detects wasn't in my system, right?

What do you think? I've already stopped taking BC cause I'm afraid it will hurt.

It's been about 3 months since I've gotten my period. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it came out negative. What's going on? I've been stressing lately and know that can delay my period from coming... but for 3 months?! I don't have any other signs of being pregnant other than some spotting about 2 months ago.

I don't like to take pills, hence the reason I am pregnant. I started off taking my prenatal vitamens but gradually forgot and eventually wasn't taking them. I am 24 weeks pregnant now and have had a healthy pregnancy. I was put in the hospital one time for dehydration, but I have been drinking plenty of water and milk since then. I know that people back in the day didn't have prenatal vitamens, so are me and my baby going to be fine?

im 17 weeks and 5 days and i have a 4d scan booked for the 6th of december and i was wondering if i should find out the sex of my baby,its just some people are being very old fashioned about it like saying that i will ruin the suprise and not to get it done cause they dont want to know, but i wanted to know so i could have everything ready for the baby whatever sex it is.... i just want to know if i should find out the sex or will it just annoy everyone that i have gone ahead when they told me not to

I am due to deliver this week, and have heard, and read all the helpful hints on helping the labor process begin. I just wanted to know if it is the actual semen that helps begin the contractions, or if it is the orgasm a women has during sexual peak which helps along the labor.

I have never had sex. I gave my bf a hand job 3 weeks ago with all of my clothes on, the weekend after my period. I am now 6 days late. I have been really stressed about this for the past 2 weeks and I wonder if that could be making me late. I have taken two pregnancy test, one 6 days ago and one 2 days ago. both were negative.

ok here is what happend. I had unprotected sex, the man cummed in me. When I got home about one hour later, I inserted two things of spermicide. I also took an ovulation predictor test, it said it was one of my fertile days, then i took two weeks worth of my Ortho Tri Cyclen LO pills. So i figure the spermicide killed any sperm in the vagina, i wonder if they could have gotten into the cervix in one hours time. Also i read some where if you take a combination of birth control pills it can equal the same as taking Plan B ermgency contraception. Since i did not have the exact combination I just took two weeks of contraception as a guess.

Okay I know there is a chance. I just want to knwo if it is likely. thanks !

I have a 7 year old daughter and I just found out I'm having a BOY, i'm so excited and a little scared too. My daughter is really good for the most part and my nephew is a total mess, is it b/c heis a boy or just the way he is raised? Is it just as easy to raise boys than girls? We have done a lot of walking the past couple of days but just a handful of contractions, nothing serious. I was wondering what other women have done in the past when they wanted this baby to come lol....I'm the excited aunt!!!!
