It's been about 3 months since I've gotten my period. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it came out negative. What's going on? I've been stressing lately and know that can delay my period from coming... but for 3 months?! I don't have any other signs of being pregnant other than some spotting about 2 months ago.

I've always had protected sex btw. It might just be major stress. My mom just died around the time I was supposed to get it and my bf lost his job so I've been working non stop to pay the bills. I hope its stress...

if your pregnancy test came out negative, i wouldn't worry about being pregnant. but you should definitely go to the doctor.... there are some medical conditions that can cause you to stop having a period. some of them can be quite serious. not that you should worry... just go to the doctor and get checked out :)
good luck!

It's very possible to receive a negative result. I had 2 that were negative and my daughter was born exactly 8 months after the 2nd one weighing over 9 lbs. so I know I had to be pregnant then. Also, with both of my pregnancies I had spotting at the time of my first missed period. I think you should get another test maybe from the doctor and get an examination.

Yes, on some rare occassions you will get a false negative. This happened to me with a test done at the dr.'s office and sure enough, I was pregnant and had to go back for another. Either way start acting like you're pregnant (eating right, etc.) Good luck!

At least this is not a stupid "am I pregnant" question. I think stress can stop a period, but you should really see a Dr. to be sure. Taking birth control pills will give you a regular period. I had a false positive one time.

I've gone as long as 4 months with out a period. you sound like you have a lot on your mind, so my guess is that its stress. But to be on the safe side, take a test.

whoa you better go to the hospital like now.
if the test said negative and no period, there might be something wrong with you...
hopefully, you are pregnate and you will have a beautifull child and you will give it much love and the baby might grow up to be a great person.

anyway, go get checked out at hospital you could be sick.. hopefully its a baby:)
dont abort it, cuz thats murder and the baby could grow up to be the president or something and if you abort it then we might end up with another george bush cuz you messed up.

did you have sex with a guy???
if not, did you sleep in a house around guys cuz some guys will knock you up when your sleeping.

Honey, go to the doctor. I have two (2) negative pregnancy test results, one is 25 years old and one is 22 years old, both boys.

Go get a blood test from the doctor. Preggy tests can give false negatives.
