Yes, some women get pimples in response to a hormonal change. Both menstuation and pregnancy cause hormonal fluctuations.

I know I sure have a lot of them, and I am 5 months pregnant. I was waiting to have this nice glowing skin that everyone talks about, and instead I got pimples. The doctor said that the changing hormones can cause either to happen to you.

Some women get acne when pregnant, some women don't it all depends. I thought I would get pimples since I do get them around my period, but it did the opposite. they have cleared up for months.

Most pregnancy tests don't give false positives, only false negatives. Call your Dr. to get a blood test confirmation.

Everyone's different. Some women get acne and other clear up. It's all those hormones in your body. There's nothing wrong with it.

I've always had bad acne since I was a teen (I'm 32 now!). It wasn't until I got pregnant that I cleared up. My skin has been the best it's ever been in a long time.

However, some of my friends have complained that when they were pregnant, that's when their acne was at its worst.

Good luck and congratulations!

Of course it's ok. The increase in hormones causes your body to do weird things...break outs are one. Just keep your face clean and try to wear little or no makeup. It should clear up, but if you're concerned talk to the dr.

Pregnancy can cause all kinds of changes. So, yeah... I guess with you it's getting pimples.

Not usually unless it has been a life process. Breakouts usually start at 8 to 9 months of pregnancy due to the change your body is going through theres is nothing you can do to avoid it.
