Walking really did help me!

But my family also told me riding on a bumpy road would
work.

I didn't have to try it... but maybe she could try that!

Also they say lots of sex!!! If she's able... there is something in the semen that works like pitocin!!! What they use to induce you!

SEX worked the best for me & my hubby both times!!!
If she's already lost her plug sex will really do the trick!!!!

If she's able!!!

By the way i had intercourse after losing my mucous plug & had no complications at all!!!

I think the only time you can't have sex is after your water breaks!!!
But i could be mistaken.

Good Luck & congrats to you both~

this is always such an exciting and yet frightful time. I think having children is the highlight of my life.... now on to the question at hand.... you can walk, which you have already been doing. But to be quite honest, short of going to your Dr. and begging for some pitossin( i can't remember how to spell that, lol) to induce labor, you will probably just have to wait it out. This child will be born when its good and ready, by the way, if you can, avoid the pitossin, the contractions are much stronger than when your body goes into labor on its own, and you have time to adjust to the severity of the contractions, wit the pit, its full force all at once, and that can be a little overwhelming. In any case, I hope the labor and delivery go beautifully, good luck autie.

There is really no such thing as a due date. It's just an estimate. When the body is ready, it will go into labor. The mucas plug can fall out weeks before labor.

Induction on Sunday is way too soon if there are no problems. She is not even late until she goes passed 42 weeks. Home remedies can cause more problems than they are worth. You cant really walk to get a baby out. Walking during labor does help because of gravity though.

Castor oil. I was giving birth to my son the day after I took it. I found the best way is to put it in Chocolate milk though. The chocolate milk is thick like the castor oil so it's not bad since it blends so well. I had to take a couple doses for it to work for me. Just tell your sister to be ready to use the bathroom a lot :) This will also help clear out her system so nothing embarssing happens on the delivery table.

I have been walking I went from dilated 1 cm 2 weeks ago to 2 last week and almost 3 this week. I have soaked in the tub. I can't do the sex thing too painful. I am so ready too. Also I would not drink castor oil. My last pregnancy I did that and I was so sick and it didn't help me any.

Dont' try to rush it! The Castor oil thing is very dangerous, can make the baby pass a bowel movement inside her and he will ingest it, which of course is very DANGEROUS! If she's that impatient stick to walking, but some people go into labor whenever they try to relax. Good luck!

the only thing that worked for me was a good long walk with my second child. I walked 2 miles to clinic appointment the day before he was due and he arrived rigjht on time! My daughter was 10 days late and i tried everything ( except walking)!

She should be relaxing as much as she can... That's all I had to do... I sat on my couch and fell asleep next thing I knew I woke up and my water broke... It was Wonderful... Everyone told me to take a walk but when I did nothing happened... But Relaxing has worked for me 2 times and I know it'll work for my 3rd in February... Good Luck...

Well, I went walking around the mall for about two hours and then had sex later on that night when I got home. My daughter was born less than 48 hours later.

I went on a motorcycle ride and a truck ride over bumpy roads, did not work, just had to go pee allot. Lots of orgasms to help you relax, since once the baby gets here it my be a bit before you have sex again. Ha
