If you're just starting the pill or with the past few months, those are common side effects. Your body has to adjust to the new hormones being introduced to your system. Also, it's not uncommon for women taking the pill to skip periods all together. If you are worried about it ask your doctor :) Good luck!

It doesn't sound like you are pregnant. Those are common 'issues' with having your period. I've been on the pill for a few years and I get cramps associated w/ my period. I also feel sick every once in a while when I have my period. Sometimes I get a headache, etc...they are all just companions w/ your period. The pill can help stabilize your period so that it is on a fixed schedule but it isn't guaranteed to help curb the side effects of your period. Talk to your OBGYN to see if a different type of pill would be good for you. Good luck :-)

I have the same problem every time I start a new type of birth control. My periods are all out of wack for the fist few months, then after my body gets use to the hormones, everything goes back to normal. However, be careful, just because you had one p. test come up neg. doesn't mean it's right. try again in 2 weeks if you don't start your p.

You should have received pamphlet info when you were given the pills, and it should state the side effects. If you can't find it, call any local pharmacy and they will tell you whether the symptoms are due to the pills. I have heard of those symptoms before from friends of mine who were on the pill, and they had to have the prescription modified. Good luck!

If it came up negative, you are probably not pregnant. There are a lot of reasons you can be late or even miss your periond.

well, if the pregnancy test came up negative, then you're not pregnant. you should go see your doctor...maybe you're just sick.
