Im 35 and my partner is 27. We met at university 4 years ago and adore each other. I have recently found out i am 5 weeks pregnant. The age difference has never bothered either of us before although it seems to have bothered a few other people (his best mate hated me from the word go without even knowing me). Im so happy to be pregnant and it was planned, but im worried about others reactions may cause a problem. has anyone else suffered similar?

What is your standpoint on it? I know that my parents themselves are pretty old fashioned (60 and 57 years old). I am 21, and got married 5 months ago. Me and my husband moved up the wedding by a whole entire year (we decided May 07 but got married this April 06) and my parents filpped out cuz they thought we moved it up cuz I was preggers.

To make a long story short, do you think having a baby out of wedlock is as looked down upon as it used to be, like back when my parents were young.

This is my first pregnancy so I know I worry too much about everything. But everyone is always shocked when I tell them how far along I am because I am barely showing at all. However, some people have said that you don't gain very much weight in your first pregnancy. Should I be worried?

my partner went to his dads house tonight (his parents are seperated) to tell him the good news that I am pregnant. We have been together 4 years, live together and It was planned and we are really excited. However, he has just called me to say that his dad wasn't over the moon and that he wasn't ready to be a grandad yet (hes 55 yrs old). Im sitting here really sad now as i thought he would be pleased for us. Do u think it may be shock? Did anyone else have this reaction to the news? His step-mom was really pleased. Im so disapointed, this is my baby we are talking about!

Hi people - I'm 3 months pregnant and don't know yet if boy or girl. I started looking for names online on various baby name sites, but have not really found real good ones. So I wanted to ask if you know of some cute ones, maybe unique ones, or nice ones just spelled different...? The name lists online are soooo long and you have to go through all weird kind of names, that it just takes forever. I want two first names for the baby, english or/and spanish. Thanx for your help!! :-))

I have to have a C-Section and a friend of mine told me that if I plan to breastfeed they won't send me home with any pain med's to control the pain afterwards?? Does anyone know anything about this?? Is it true??? I'm really scared about having a c-section to begin with, but I don't think I could bare the pain of a serious surgery without any pain medication. Only answer if you have experience please. Don't get me wrong, if I have to I will, but taking care of a newborn and my other kids and the house and laundry, and everything else, I just don't want to be a DEVIL because I'm in so much pain on top of everything alse I have to take care of. Thank You. And I also don't want my other kids to be upset with me because I'm being such a B---- because of lack of sleep, or so much pain. Please help me out, all I do is worry. Thanks again.. Oh and for those of you who wonder, Yes I have to have a c-setion.

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have really sore stretch marks, help! I've tried using coco butter but I dont think it makes any difference at all. Body butter is good but leaves you feeling like your clothes are sticking to you. Any suggestions?

Since 2 hours I have been feeling a light pain feeling on my left ab, it's actually on my lower left side at the bottom. It is not cramping or hurting too much. I just feel some soft pain/discomfort rather. I am wondering if it can be my baby moving around. I know it is probably too early to feel the baby's kicks cause i am not feeling anything when my hand is there. But i asked the office manager at work and she said she could feel it's a bit swollen on my left side and she says maybe the baby's butt is there against me. Could it be possible to feel the baby so early before the 18-20 week time? And what does fluttering and light baby movements feel like, what I am saying...or something else? Please let me know!

What is the first sign you usually get when you pregnant? The reason I ask is because my breats are REALLY sore to the point that the slightest touch hurts them...I just missed my period and I was just wondering.

Plz don't think I am stupid for asking a dumb question... I only heard this and was trying to see if it was true? I heard that some women right before they find out they are pregnant will get a cold... or cold like symptoms? Now can you tell me if this is true! Again I am sorry for asking a dumb question like this.. I heard it and was very curious!! Thanks!

My boyfriend (of three years) and I have been having real trouble keeping our relationship going smooth lately although we have never had a problem with this pre- pregnancy. I am almost 6 months pregnant and for the most part have my hormones under control, our relationship trouble has gotten worse lately. I know that I should have waited until marrige to have children, but this was not planned and I do not believe in abortion. Any advice as to how I can make our relationship better?
Thank you!

Most comments I read all over the web say that their babies are moving like crazy. When I had a sonogram at 20 weeks, everything was fine. I am just worried that the baby isn't so active.

Have been taking prometrium since positive pregnancy test. Am at 7 weeks now, can prometrium keep me from missing a miscarriage? Will it be holding in an unviable pregnancy in my womb?
