Firstly, congratulations! What's more important- your and your partner's reactions, or people that don't matter? If your baby was planned, and you're both delighted, then someone has to be pretty nasty to be negative about it. The age difference is immaterial - you've been together long enough to know that you work as a couple, and you should ignore anyone who tries to interfere. (And 7 years isn't that big a gap!)

That isnt that big of an age difference at all. People like you get together all the time. The only way that this could cause issues if he isnt mature or ready to handle the stress. If other people have a problem with it, especially friends, then they arent really friends. They should be supportive in whatever you choose to do regardless if they dont agree with it.
Dont trip on the people you dont know, who cares what they think as long as you are happy. You will soon be bringing a beautiful life into the world! You wont have time to care or worry once the baby comes!!

Age is just a number and 27 and 35 isnt that big of a difference. If you two are happy together and the age distance doesnt bother you dont worry about what other people think...they will get over it!

Get married and then the age difference wont matter anymore. It's amazing how that works. I am 26 and my husband is 33. The age difference bothered some people in the beginning but then we got married and it didn't matter any more.
As long as the age difference doesn't bother the both of you, then don't worry about other people's reactions to it.

Age differences especially where the female is older then the male will always be a topic of interest. I think those that put it down are secretly jealous.
You and your partner have been together 4 years, and the baby is planned. Continue to ignore those fools that try to make it a bad thing. Enjoy your pregnancy and the long journey ahead as loving parents.

Since you planned for it and u are now happy to be pregnant, don't bother what others feel or comment. They aren't the one that will stay with you anyway === so why bother. If you ever know who can't accept the fact of age differences, then just leave them and find another friends who will give you their best blessings. Congrates !

You need to ignore anyone who gives you the "look" or any crap about it. Lots of people have a much BIGGER age difference---Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones or Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher come to mind--and are perfectly happy.
I am happy for you--enjoy your pregnancy, your man, and your life together--may it be a long one!!

My husband is 6 years older than I am. He gets the robbing the cradle question quite a bit. But we don't care. If people have a problem with it who cares, it is their problem. You two are happy together and that is all that counts.

My step dad is 8 years younger than my mom, she hasnt had any problems. My husband and I are 8 years apart but I think its easier when the guy is the older person. We havent had any negative comments.
