You hear all kinds of things. Just because it happens to one or some people doesn't mean it's statistically significant.
Urban myths start that way.

Yep! Usually within the first month you will have a cold, or at least all the symptoms. I did with both of my pregnancy. Plus, the stuffy nose might stick around off and on through out. Good Luck!

There is no such thing as a silly question ;o)
For both pregnancy, I had what I thought were allergy symptoms (stuffy nose, post nasal drip). However, my friend had no symptoms at all just the triedness. So to answer your question, yes it's true to some women but not to all.

It's not stupid and Yes lots of women get cold like syptoms. Mostly because your body is starting to increase its fluid reserves and if you have sensitive sinuses anyways you will feel it quickly, also many women suffer from allergies or sinus trouble for the 1st time when they are pregnant.

I don't think that's true, but it's common to have a stuffy nose during pregnancy. I don't think you'd show those symptoms for a least a few weeks though...
Many pregnant women's noses plug up when they lie do to sleep/rest.

thats not a stupid question.
I rarely get colds but a bit before I was pregnant I got one and I got an even worse one when I was pregnant.
I guess your resistance is lower as your body changes.
