Pregnancy - September 2006

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and I've been experiencing headaches almost every other day. While I understand that the hormones cause these headaches, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can curb them? I've told my doctor about them, she said that I can use Tylenol, but I don't want to over do it. Thanks!

i am 11 weeks pregnant and experiencing light crapmingit doesnt hurt just uncomfortable..is this normal or should i be concered...it lasts about 5 mins then goes away...for anywhere between 2 hours- a couple days...are these braxton hicks??

I am 7 weeks pregnant, and yesterday I bleed for like 10 minutes and it was hardly anything... I mean I wiped and I saw... then like 20 minutes went to check again and then there was no more blood.Is this normal I havent bled anymore Please help

I have for many years made my wife use the black plastic bin liner method for contraception.

As is normal in these reproductive matters, whenever my wife sits down in chair that I have used, she must cover the seat with the bin liner so that we do not bring an unplanned baby into the world.

However this morning I was shocked when she told me she is pregnant.

She says that one day last month when she was very tired she forgot to put a plastic cover onto the sofa before sitting down. I however suspect that she has been using the bus without taking safety precautions, and has not been telling me.

All this has come as a shock, especially after I took such care to explain the risks to her - and it is already placing a strain on our marriage.

How can I find out if the baby is mine?

At her doctor's appointment, she was told that the baby is large with a large head. Also the baby is not dropping at all and is still very high. She is only 5' tall and with the baby being so large, I don't think there's room for it to drop. The doctor will wait 2 more weeks to see if she can go into labor on her own, but said a caesarian is quite possible. Will dilation only take place if the baby drops?

its been 53 days since my last period and i am having some signs of pregnancy. ive had sore breast/nipples for the past two weeks and yesterday it just felt like it was tingling inside. i started feeling very fatigue, i go to bed earlier than i usually do, i felt like my period was coming for the past two weeks and it hasnt come. i went to planned parenthood three days ago for the blood test but they only gave a urine test, the test was neg. They said if i wanted the blood test id have to pay $100 and i think that was too much. I have a doctor but the earliest app. i could get was in mid october. i read there are some women who took the urine test and it came out neg and when they took the blood test it came out positive. when i went in for a pap smear on sept 6 i wanted to do a blood test and they said you dont need a blood test the urine sample is good enough. what do you guys think? do you know any clinic that can give me a blood test without me waiting forever to get one?

I just told my future husband that i got a positive pregnanct test i was so excited and scared! He on the other hand wants to move up the wedding day because he is afraid of how it will look if i walk down the isle pregnant and is panicking about what his italian mommy will think of this aparently she liked me when we met and the rest of his family did too we all got along and my spanish family is coming around to him and he is afraid this will mess things up? Is he taking this too far?I mean we are 24, and 25 years old not children and he does not want anyone to know it is almost like he is embarrassed of me being pregnant?

Hi I am 9 weeks pregnant and was having like stomach cramps and the doctor told me they were normal due to my uterus growing and all of a sudden now I am not getting pains anymore. But I havent had bleeding or anything. Has my uterus stretched enough or am I just getting used to this now? or should I be concerned? I cant be running to the doctor everytime something goes wrong or doesnt feel right they are getting sick of me over there? LOL So help me out moms. Thanks

I have a skin disorder called psoriasis I was wondering if any moms out there have heard if it is not ok to breast feed with this type of skin condition. I know they say it is something I am lacking in my immune system so I was wondering if my baby will get all the proper nutrients if I go a head and do it. also I have no and psoriasis on my breast now is there a good chance I may develop it there from cracked or dry nipples. I do plan to ask the doctor just wondering if anyone has experienced this before thanks for the advise

I was just wondering how far along you were. I'm 5 1/2 weeks and scared to death of miscarrying I have had one already about 5 months ago.♥ I just need some comforting, I'm freaking out♥ I have been to the doc and everything is good but I'm still so nervous. I go for my sonogram on the 19 of Oct. then maybe my mind will be eased. Also how soon would you know if you had an ectopic pregnancy. I have no pain but I did used to have PID so I am at risk for it. Thank you for all the nice answers. And please no rude remarks, I don't need that right now♥

for about the last week, I have been leaking it feels like a bubble that is trapped, even when I have a bath it gets this feeling of like a bubble and leakage. I think it's just urine because it feels high up, but I'm not sure what else could it be? it has no color to that ive noticed

i went the the hospital last night and was 3cm dialated and having regular contractions. they didnt tell me how effaced i was but 3 weeks ago at my dr appt. they said i was 50% so i am at least that much...they sent me home and now the contractions have all but stopped. i read that drinking castor oil and root beer will induce labor if you are ripe enough...i am ready to have this baby and at my witts end...would now be considered ripe enough for it to possibly work?? i have tried walking sex nip stim...pretty much everything i can think of not only am i uncomfortable but i am constantly nauseaous and i have a 2 year old at home i am taking out my foul moods on. i dont think she has seen her bedtime with me in weeks...i put her to bed as soon as i can and i feel horrible...i cant go on like this anymore and i just want to know if i am willing to try the castor oil and deal with the side effects and deal with the chance that it wont work i would be considered ripe enough???

I am wondering about my sides because we had sex the other night and since then its been hurting- feels like a bruise. My chest n nipples have a slight tenderness to them and feel slightly heavier than they normaly do. I have started to actually eat- before i didnt eat but once a day and now at least two times plus snacks several times.... i do have some stress to because we are moving this weekend, and instead of packing- ive been naping....i feel like my period is going to hit but it doesnt feel normal- i took this ovulation test and it broke during the exact time frame. also (personal) ive been kinda wet i want to say since it happened... is that anything?

I have had terrible sciatic nerve problems since the beginning of my pregnancy. I am almost 15 weeks now. I have not been eating like I normally do, however, I feel I have been eating enough! I have not been very physically active because it is difficult. When I got pregnant I was overweight by about 75lbs. Well today I weighed myself and I lost 23 LBS. What is causing this? Do you think everything is okay? I go and see the doc next week!

i just gave birth to my baby on sept 22nd,i have been having neck and shoulder pain,and stiffness accompanied with headache...is this from the epidural?..has anyone had these symptoms after an epidural?
