i got pregnant almost 3 years ago and gained alot of weight. ever since then i havent lost any weight..i've actually been gaining it. does anyone know a good way to lose weight?..its starting to really get to me!?...HELP!

I am 34 weeks preg. and i have this burning like sensation under my ribs, and i tried to move the baby and everything but it is only relieved when i lie down. has anyone had this and what did they do for it?

anyone who had a baby at a birth center or at home, free from medications can you tell me what your labor was like and can you describe what you pain was like? Im 34 wks and just wondering.

I had some blood taken when I found out I was pregnant. I had a miscarriage though and my doc didn't say anything about the blood tests when I was there twice last week so she must have just gotten it back. She called me Friday and left a message to call her about my test results. I keep stressting that it's the worst like HIV or something even though she said it wasn't urgent that I call her back. I had a HIV test about a year ago but I keep thinking maybe I didn't wait long enough. It was about 2 months after I broke up with an ex who was an IV drug user and about month after I started having sex with my current boyfriend.

Anyway, what could she possibly have to tell me now that isn't bad news?

I've had steady Braxton Hicks for the last two days (nothing new for me except that they've continued for two days), I'm 36w1d (docs are considering me full term since I had all these pre-term contractions) and I have the runs like I have never had before...

For those of you that have been in labor... how many had your labor preceeded by diarrhea and if so, now long did it last, and how long til you were in active or noticeable labor after the diarrhea kicked in?

I had sex 4 times with my boy friend the first 2 times we used condoms, but the first time, we saw it leaked or broke, as we found some white sticky stuff around my vagina... the 2 other times we used the withdraw methed, he didn't ejaculate in me, those 2 times he didn't use condoms, but I'm not sure if he could of had small orgasims and thinking nothing coming out... but something could of... I don't know if he did a little in me or not? I remember like a few hours after I noticed some pain as if I was ovulating, but lasted a bit longer (a few hours)... what could it be??? I know I should of stopped after the first scare, but I just wanted to be loved, and he made me feel that way...

I have heard of women pooping during labor (while they are pushing). This sounds highly embarassing and I was wondering how many women actually do this or is this just like the very few who experience this. Also, does one pass gas during labor(while they push)? I have no idea waht to expect and I jsut want to be prepared for any embarassing or other than "normal" bodily actions during pregnancy , labor and post pregnancy. thank you

I'm 7 weeks pregnant now and my boyfriend is away at Binghamton NY. He attends Binghamton University and wont be done for a year and a half and it hurts that he can't share this pregnany with me and he probably wont be able to come down for the delivery. He says I am not alone but I can't help but feel that way I have to scan and e-mail sonograms and let him know how I and the baby is doing it breaks my heart. I wish he was here and I want him to be here and I just don't know what to do.

I'm 20 years old and even though I am young I understand that being a parent is hard and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make my child happy but I just wish the father could be around

Has anyone else been through it? If so how do you deal with this?

I Figured it was a boy about 1 month ago, but now i think I have started Braxton Hicks Contractions, and I am only 20 weeks!!! Has anyone ever started them this early? Is it ok, or should I go get looked at now, I have an appointment on Monday, but thought I would ask you guys first.

and my husband and I absolutely enjoy being intimate. My question is how hard or fast is too hard or fast during sex while expecting? Because we are not really into the slow and soft approach. But I definately don't want to harm my baby in any way. This is a question that I was too embarassed to ask my doctor, as you can imagine. We don't like freakishly do it hard and fast to a point where it hurts, but just enough to where we really enjoy it.
