It's called sympathy pains and if he is like my husband you will have to put up with that the rest of your pregnancy!! Just try Vitamin B 12 and a Unisom at night for the both of you and that will help that's what my OB put me on for morning sickness and yes it even helped my husband believe it or not!!! Good Luck and Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes men go through the same feelings as women when they are pregnant..something about sympathy pains! But tell your husband to grow up because in ___ months you are going to be pushing a human life form out of your body and caring for it for the next 18 years so you don't have time for his sympathy pains.

alot of fathers go threw this, my hubby has cravings and gets sick too. Most couples that are well tuned, and are into each other have the same feelings. My husband does not mean to be like this, but because you are going threw so many changes, so is he. Especially if this is your first baby together. keep in mind everything gets better in the 2nd trimester.
Check out:

they have week by week information. Also stuff that your hubby might be going threw as well.

It happens.. I've heard of this before where the husband feels the pregnancy... just smile about it and know he's sharing it with you... when it subsides in him, he'll really understand how you feel... just think, this is good comedy relief for the delivery room... let him know you can share the pain in that too if he keeps whining at you...
Good luck to you....Keep your head up

Its very possible. My husband can tell when I have heartburn and not feeling good because he feels it as well. We are very tuned into each other so it doesnt suprise me. Its also good because although he cannot fully understand what I am going through he has some idea and it makes him more sympathetic towards me, which is nice.

this is pretty rare but he actually has sympathy pains. i dont know the medical term but when the female gets pregnant the male if he feels very close and loves his partner very much can experience almost every thing the pregnent female feels accept for the birth itself. try to google "sympathy pains". even though it may get on your nerves sometimes just know that he realy realy loves and cares for you so much so that hes sharing your symptoms

Ever hear of sympathy pains? Men often experience the same feelings, physically and emotionally as us.
Funny my boyfriend got physically sick, and I didn't. He also was the nut job out of the too. Its funny... but think of it this way. He's that close to you that he is sharing in the pregnancy.

Some guys actually gain weight while their wives are pregnant too. Just tell him to buck up and take care of himself. Tell him he is exhausting you and you need to rest up for when baby arrives.

this is really the time to focus on yourself. let him take care of himself. let him know, in a nice way, that you just cant take care of him like you used to and tell him that growing a human being is hard work and to cut you some slack!!

He is stressed, probably about something related to the baby. Financial or something like that.
