and my husband and I absolutely enjoy being intimate. My question is how hard or fast is too hard or fast during sex while expecting? Because we are not really into the slow and soft approach. But I definately don't want to harm my baby in any way. This is a question that I was too embarassed to ask my doctor, as you can imagine. We don't like freakishly do it hard and fast to a point where it hurts, but just enough to where we really enjoy it.

Just be careful it can put you into labor. Save the rough stuff for 2 more months. Semen and orgasms can soften the cervix and cause contractions.

Congratulations on the impending arrival of your new little one!
Sex during pregnancy have fun, as long as you do not go so hard that it makes you spot or bleed, have fun. It takes alot to harm a baby in the womb, the baby has "water" all around it, that protects it quite will. You will be in a lot of pain before you will harm your baby. Your vaginal wall and cervix will have the impact, as opposed to your baby, so as long as it is not painful for you, your baby will be fine. (Think of a baby on the other side of a couch cushion, He/she will be rocked and jiggled, So you will probably rock he/she to sleep). Enjoy your hubby now while the baby is not waking up in the middle and you have to cut "fun time" short.

As long as you're not hurting you're generally okay. Just remember that you can tear the ligaments and tendons that support and tether the uterus.

Its your cervix that you dont want to disrupt, so if you're too deep you'd tell. The farther along you get the more tender that area gets, so just be careful to slow down and change position if you start to feel sore in there. If you can feel him against your cervix (you'd feel a bit of pain or discomfort) or if you end up with spotting after sex, then you'll know your getting a little too wild.

Well, if your docter has said anything to you about not having sex then it is perfectly fine to have it however you want. The baby is well protected and actually the motion might put the baby to sleep believe it or not.

Sex is normally a free way to bring up the babys due date if it is over a few days late. You can never really do it too hard, if it starts to hurt you or your partner, it would then start to hurt the baby,

How about some foreplay like a "Hummer" coz men really dig a woman with great oral skills and then just do it doggie entry or anally if you don't object as long as you use plenty of lubricant.
