Medical Sonograms are operator dependent, that is, they are only as good as the technologist performing it, and the MD reading it. If you are asking about gender determination. It is more accurate for boys, than girls, and it is more accurate at 20 weeks pregnant, as opposed to 15 weeks. Ultrasounds are not 100% accurate on everything, but if you get a great tech scanning at a well known institution your chances of accuracy are higher.

Umm not sure what you are trying to see is accurate but I am just going to assume the gender of the baby.
Many people find them accurate and some don't....I had a friend told threw out her whole pregnany she was having a girl and when the baby came out it was a boy then my moms best friend was told up to her 8th month of pregnancy she was having a boy but when the baby came it was a girl.
Another examlpe is my friend from school was told she was having twin boys and ended up having twins girls, and note she had like 6 ultrasounds and they kept telling her she was having healthy boys, boy was she pissed when they came out and said you have two healthy girls.

How accurate is it for what? Detecting pregnancy? If that's what you mean the embryo cannot usually be seen on an ultrasound until at least 6 wks.

It all depends on the specialist who did your ultrasound. But for the most part it should be fairly close.

depends on what your looking for on it. there is a possibility of the sex being wrong. but, weight and length they say can be a pound or two off.
