Did you gain as much/ the same/ less weight with your second pregnancy?

I gained the same amount but my second baby was more than a pound heavier than my first.

I gained less weight with my second pregnancy because I had "morning" sickness throughout my entire pregnancy. My fourth pregnancy, I developed Gestational Diabetes and actually weighed less when I delivered than before I got pregnant. I was on a very strict diet and didn't feel well most of the time.

My first pregnancy I gained 40 pounds, second one only 18, third one 18, 4th one 40 again. I think it depends on if you go back to your normal weight afterwards or not. With the first child I was a normal healthy weight, second and third I was over weight and fourth I was just a little over my pre-baby weight. As long as you eat healthy and not too much junk food you shouldn't worry about how much weight you gain. The last pregnancy I ate the healthiest and it all came off within 2 months. Eat healthy with not too much junk food and soda and it will come off easier.

Every woman is different. Some gain more in the first pregnancy, some gain more with later pregnancies. A woman's diet, medical problems, or any number of things can cause this. I hope this helps.

Less the second time around. But I had a wicked case of preeclampsia the first time, and a much milder case the second time, so it was mostly water.
