Pregnancy - August 2006

I know im probably pregnant, i feel the same way when i knew i was pregnant with my first, but my period would come in like a week. Is there anyway to know before then?

If parents want to protect their kids why dont all teach self defence from age 4?

So when they reach teenage you dont have to be so protective and can help them experience the world?

Likewise why don't parents put their kids on a depro injection when they develop an interest in boys (and if there was something similar for boys fairs fair)

An injection every 3 months the parent could enforce would surely eliminate most pregnancies? when teengers are least able to handle the responsibility but must active due to hormones?

Yes I do know about stds so get the condoms yourself and get them to the kids themselves and if not carrying if starte dating ground them (good lesson that)

Likewise teach streetwiseness etc


Ie instead of wrapping up in cotton wool hiding the world from them teach them how to handle it and actively deal with things?

What happens if you have been feeling bad cramps...like your on your period..and my due date is suppose to be the 18th of this week coming up!..and i dropped like about 4 weeks ago..and now lately when i get up in the morning its hard to get up and my stomach hurts too..and im not sure want i feel is normal or what because this is my first..and i need all the information i can get..because i never had time to go to any classes...and all so im not sure whats suppose to happen in this week...please help and give me some advice that you guys felt when you were pregnant...thanks...a lot!!..

Please be serious. I am 39 weeks and dialated to 2 cm. The doctor said he doubted I would make it to my next appt which is tomorrow. I was up all night last night because I just felt uncomfortable Now my stomach is cramping slightly like I need to have a bowel movement but when I go, I can't GO! The doc told me to try sex, but my husband insists that it'll hurt the baby. I am so frustrated and feel misreable. Any advice?

I have just taken a pregnancy test. The result was possitive..i think...there is a second line (which indiactes pregnancy) however it is very faint. I have supsected for a month or so i am pregnant, and am now 5 days late on my period which is why i took it...any advice, guess i should just take another test? thanks

i had my period on january 6th than again on jan. 29th making it a 23 day cycle so im wondering if that is why sonogramer said date of conception was on feb 5th not feb 12th every sonogram ive had 5 total has gave the same result earliest one being at 9 weeks 5 days

So.. I'll give the story as simple as I can. Ive been on birth control for just about a year now, ortho tri-cyclen low. I have never skipped any pills before until this last month. I skipped two in a row and had un-protected sex the rest of the month (please dont scold me I know it was dumb of me and I feel stupid enough as it is already). Anyways.... I felt a little funny before my period, my breats hurt a bit but I cant figure out if I was just making that up in my head because I was worrying so much that I was pregnant. I got my period the day it was supposed to start, however it only lasted a day and stopped completley and I havent got it since. I took a pregnancy test, 3 days after my period stopped and it was negative. Can anyone shed some light on what could be happening??!!! Please.

Hello, I'm 16 and a half and recently started having sex with my long term boyfriend, and we do use protection, we've never done anything stupid like not use proection, however a month ago, 12 hours before my period came we had sex and unfortunately a few had a few condoms split on us way way way before his climax and mine and we stopped immediately. I was worried because I know abuot the possiblities of pre-ejaculation and went to see someone at a family planning clinic 2 weeks after and the lady I spoke to said I wasn't pregnant, because she asked me about the period I had after sex and I said it was normal and she said that she was certain I wasn't pregnant because my period had been normal and I didnt have sex during the fertilisation days (12-16 or something) of my menstrual cycle. However today it's the 30th day and the period hasn't arrived yet, and my period isn't usually bang on time it's either a couple days early or late, but I cant help worrying and going out of mind that I still could be pregnant. I worry a lot, and I heard that worrying can delay your period? I also do have the PMT symptoms this week irritable, sore breasts, bloating, tiredness, and stuff, but I cant help worrying. Today I feel particularly depressed like I normally feel before a period. Please Help me with some facts.
