you will be pregnant, assuming sperm found an egg to fertilize, in less than 72 hours. The hormone that the body produces will not be detectable for at least 3 weeks after that.

You get pregant within a day or two after having sex. A pregancy test will not give you any results until a couple weeks later. Usually around the time that you should be starting your period again. You will not even have symptoms until your a couple months pregnant.

72 hours will tell you nothing...... It takes a full 48 to even get the sperm to the egg then it has to fertilized the egg. A missed period is when it is best to test. Some test will say they can tell you up to 5 days before your missed period but instead of wasting the time and money and chancing you may still have a period you should wait.....................

You can take a test 72 hours later but it wont reveal anything. You need to wait until you are late because you have to wait for the hormones to build up.

I know EPT pregnanacy tests can tell sooner than most, but i think you still have to be right around the time that you should have started before it will be able to tell, though. if you're that worried about it, go to your doctor and he can run a blood test that monitors your HCG levels and that will tell if you are pregnant from the get go.

no, at 72 hours, there is no hcg produced yet. Safest is to test on the day you miss your period. Some home pregnancy test can detect the HCG hormone at 20miu so with this you can test the day before your expected period.

The EPTs say that you can test up to 5 days before your missed period, the sooner in those days that you test the less accuracy the tests guarantee. HTH
