After I've introduced all of the veggies and fruits what kind of a diet should I feed my son? Like how do I give him a variety of foods? I give him rice cereal and a fruit in the morning, a veggie and a fruit for lunch and then for dinner, and then before bed some more rice cereal (he get's breastmilk in between there too) But what I want to know is do I give him the same fruit all day? or should I give him a different one each time I feed him? And the same with veggies, do I give him the same one all day and then switch the next day, or do I switch it up during the day? What does everyone else do? Thanks for the input!!

why do babies hate getting their diaper changed? My friend works at a daycare center and I have to help out there for extra money. Why do they hate being changed so much?

I have a newborn and an almost-3-year-old. What would be a good double stroller for this age range?

I've been pumping and storing my breastmilk as I have to leave my little one for a couple of days for business. I've started to notice color variences from pump to pump, or day to day. How can you tell if frozen breastmilk has gone sour/bad?

My two month old baby is sick and she has been sick ever since she was born, stop up nose, couching, diahhra, vomitting, and every now and then a fever. Her doctor told me that you can not give a child medicine until they get 3 months old. So I guess I am wondering what do I do till she is 3 months? Watch her be sick?

I was watching Nancy Grace lastnight andthey had on there,a woman who is accused of killed her 3 week old baby in a microwave! How can someone do that? How can someone put their baby in there and shut the door, set the time and turn it on,and listen to their baby screaming in pain.I couldn't even imagine the pain that baby was going through.I think they should build a microwave big enough to put her *** in, and do her the same way,if she did this.Let her or whoever did this go through the same pain that baby went through. The baby was cooked from the inside out.But she didn't die in the microwave, but later on that night. So,that baby suffered for a long time. How can anyone even think of doing something like this.I cried just watching. What is the right punishment for such a crime? I think the same should be done to them!!!

The state is going to take my sister-in-laws child away. I understand that family gets first shot at temporary custody. So although just married we are considering taking on this baby. Is DYFS going to do a home study? Are they going to require checkups for us? Do we get any help from the state (money wise, or formula or diapers?)Are they going to drug test? Is it just like foster care and do we have to go through all the same requirements?

I am using a double breast pump made from Hollister. When I breastfeed my son I can feel the let down. If I need to switch to formula, what is the best?

My baby is almost 3 weeks old. We both took to breastfeeding very easily, however he had jaundice, so his doctor put him on formula for a few days till his bilirubin went down. While he was on formula I pumped and stored my milk and was getting 4-5 oz. everytime I pumped. He wasn't latching back on to my breast after the formula, so hubby and I decided to just pump my milk and bottle feed him. I am drinking plenty of milk and water, eating healthy and pumpimg avery 2-3 hours, but now I am lucky to get 2 oz. combined when I pump. Is there anything I can do to increase supply or am I losing my milk? Anyone with experiences like this would be appreciated, as well as anyone who has knowledge in this area. Also, when I experience letdown, it only lasts about 30 seconds, then I can't get anymore milk.

This may sound a bit silly BUT....

My due date is in May, so I have a little bit, but I was wondering if babies should be bundled up still in warmer weather, or would a short sleeved outfits be apporiate for that time a year. I live in FL, so our temps. are going to be in the high 90s by that time of year. I feel so silly, but with my first, he was born in December, so I bought the warmest thing I could find and tons of blankets, so it was easy! Thanks for your answers (bored at work and this question just came to me:)

We took the bumpers out of my daughter's crib when she was about three months old and had learned to turn over on her own. Now she is 8 months old, and is throwing all of her toys and her binky out at night and in the morning when she wakes up, plus I feel like they may block a bit of the draft (we live in an older house in it gets drafty at night). Is it safe to put them back in for now until she learns to stand up? I know they need to be back out then so she can't use then to climb up on...

During the day I bottle feed my 3 month old son because I am in school. When I come back from school I will feed him for about and hour...I basically breastfeed when i can. I would say at 3-4 times during the day but at night I only breastfeed but I feel I'm losing my milk. I don't leek like I use 2. Before I had to wear breast pads, now I don't need 2. I can tell i still have milk, but can I be drying up?

Why would a woman throw a baby out in the garbage? They have made it so easy for women now that it isn't a crime to leave your baby at any hospital or church? What would possess someone to want to put an innocent life in harms way? This has me truly perplexed and sad.

I have a 14 month old and will be having another baby in a few months. I need recommendations from moms on which type of stroller is best. I would like one that would be safe for the newborn yet comfortable for my toddler. Thanks in advance

My brother is a biter, and he has been for a couple of weeks, and he also fights with the other babies at his daycare (I have two other brothers who are 6 and 8 who he plays with so they wrestle and he joins in the 'fun') and my mom doesnt want him to get kicked out. My brothers dont like it and pop him in the cheek when he does it and he stops for a second the proceeds , my mom tells him no and he does it again. I either give him a teethign ring to chew on or sit him in his chair [bouncer] for 5 minutes everytime he bites some one, and we are tryign to find a more effective way to get him to stop. I think my way is the most effective, cause he usually stops for a while (like 3 days or more)

(***He is a one year old, who is always chewing on the nipples of bottles, my arm (!) and other people, please help!)
